4Then saide Saul to his armour bearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith, lest these vncircumcised come, and abuse mee: but his armour bearer would not, for he was sore afraid. So Saul tooke a sword, and fell vpon it. 5And when his armour bearer saw that Saul was dead, hee fell likewise on the sword, and died. 6So Saul died, and his three sonnes, and all his house died together. 7And when all the men of Israel that were in the valley, saw that they fled, and that Saul and his sonnes were dead: then they forsooke their cities, and fled, and the Philistines came and dwelt in them. 8¶ And it came to passe on the morrow, when the Philistines came to strip the slaine, that they found Saul and his sonnes fallen in mount Gilboa.
