2Then Dauid sayd, None ought to carie the Arke of God, but the Leuites: for them hath the Lord chosen to cary the Arke of God, and to minister vnto him for euer. 3And Dauid gathered all Israel together to Ierusalem, to bring vp the Arke of the Lord vnto his place, which hee had prepared for it. 4And Dauid assembled the children of Aaron, and the Leuites. 5Of the sonnes of Kohath: Uriel the chiefe, and his brethren an hundred and twentie. 6Of the sonnes of Merari: Asaiah the chiefe, and his brethren two hundred and twentie.
