1Now wee beseech you, brethren, by the comming of our Lord Iesus Christ, and by our gathering together vnto him, 2That yee bee not soone shaken in minde, or bee troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter, as from vs, as that the day of Christ is at hand, 3Let no man deceiue you by any meanes, for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sinne bee reuealed, the sonne of perdition, 4Who opposeth and exalteth himselfe aboue all that is called God, or that is worshipped: so that he as God, sitteth in the Temple of God, shewing himselfe that he is God. 5Remember yee not, that when I was yet with you, I tolde you these things?
