Isaiah 37:34 Context
32For out of Ierusalem shall goe forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeale of the Lord of hostes shall doe this. 33Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this citie, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a banke against it. 34By the way that he came, by the same shall he returne, and shall not come into this citie, saith the Lord. 35For I will defend this citie to saue it, for mine owne sake, and for my seruant Dauids sake. 36Then the Angel of the Lord went forth, and smote in the campe of the Assyrians a hundred and fourescore and fiue thousand: and when they arose earely in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.
