1When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Iesus made and baptized moe disciples then Iohn, 2(Though Iesus himselfe baptized not, but his disciples:) 3He left Iudea, and departed againe into Galile. 4And hee must needs goe thorow Samaria. 5Then commeth he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, neere to the parcell of ground that Iacob gaue to his sonne Ioseph.
