1The burden of the word of þe Lord to Israel by Malachi. 2I haue loued you, sayth the Lord: yet yee say, Wherein hast thou loued vs? was not Esau Iacobs brother, sayth the Lord ? yet I loued Iacob, 3And I hated Esau, and layde his mountaines, and his heritage waste, for the dragons of the wildernesse.
