5That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may reioyce in the gladnesse of thy nation: that I may glory with thine inheritance. 6Wee haue sinned with our fathers: we haue committed iniquitie, we haue done wickedly. 7Our fathers vnderstood not thy wonders in Egypt, they remembred not the multitude of thy mercies: but prouoked him at the sea, euen at the Red-sea. 8Neuerthelesse hee saued them for his Names sake: that hee might make his mighty power to be knowen. 9He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried vp: so hee led them through the depthes, as through the wildernes.
