4My soule is among lyons, and I lie euen among them that are set on fire: euen the sonnes of men, whose teeth are speares and arrowes, and their tongue a sharpe sword. 5Be thou exalted, O God, aboue the heauens: let thy glory be aboue all the earth. 6They haue prepared a net for my steppes, my soule is bowed downe: they haue digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselues. Selah. 7My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing, and giue praise. 8Awake vp my glory, awake psalterie and harpe; I my selfe will awake early.
