  • A prayer for David on Revelation 22:19 - 5 years ago
Heavenly Father, I pray that you will cover this problem with your loving hand. While my mind is confused and struggles to find the right path, I know that you can heal any situation. Bring your peace and hope to my life. Hold me close to you so that my heart and mind may be kept safe. I pray that you will use the power of your truth to transform any darkness into your love and light. You are my fortress and my place of refuge. In times of difficulties, I turn to you for protection from harm. Thank you for protecting me and giving me your blessings in my life , Amen.

David! I'm so happy you are here :)

I'm sorry I had such an off kind of day. You being here answered my prayers.

Not only me, but our Lord wants us to be here every day. To learn, comment back with our experiences too.

I'm praying that everyone will meet and welcome David.

kelly when a person dies who is born again , there spirit goes to be with jesus in heaven

absent in the body present with the lord. 2nd cor5-8, those who do not know jesus christ

alone as there lord saviour will go to hell, awaiting the white throne judgement to be cast

in the lake fire which is the second deathrev20-14, 15, and whosoever was not found written

in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. we are conscious at death, we have a body

soul and spirit, do not believe the cults like the adventists who believe in soul sleep, the

jehovah wittnesses, roman catholics purgatory, its either heaven or hell after death, heb 9-27

the judgement, also mormons, and a multitiude of other cults, please make sure you have been

truly born again by the blood of jesus christ. jesus spoke more about hell than heaven. acts 4-12

We are saved the moment that we believe that Jesus died for our sins and rose again. See 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. This is all that is required to be reconciled to God. We are at that moment sealed by the Holy Spirit 'until the day of redemption' ie. once saved always saved. Repentance is a change of mind, which we enacted when we believed.

Your past sins are past, and washed away. The accuser will try and remind you of them, just rebuke him. He has nothing to say to you that you cannot ignore.

He that sweareth to his own hurt and changeth not is a person that takes an oath. When such a commitment comes with a higher personal cost than first anticipated, some with less integrity would back down and not follow through. This person values honesty and the sincerity of his word more than his own personal welfare.
  • Heidi Jipson on Hebrews 10:12 - 5 years ago
I'm sorry but that is, unfortunately, a common misinterpretation of this verse. To see the Truth one simply has to ask two questions:

    1) How many times did Jesus die on the cross?

    2) For how many people did he die on the cross?

If Jesus forgave sins past, present, and future (without a person acknowledging and truly repenting from sins) then there would have been no need for Him to tell the people He healed to go and sin no more. His sacrifice was not a license to continue leading a sinful life, doing whatever we want. That is one reason He says to count the cost.

    Hello Angella,

What a great post to read. I actually shed a few tears. I read this earlier. Just after getting off my knees asking, our Father, for forgiveness on some things I shouldn't have done. How much we truly need our Father and Lord Jesus Christ. The love we receive from God is irreplaceable and priceless. Thank you again for you gracious post.

    God Bless you sister.

Sounds like you need a change of scenery. Our flesh is our biggest obstacle. We develop bad habits that will persuade us to think that we deserve something that is probably not what the spirit of God wants or can use. When you give yourself to Christ, that's when the holy spirit starts its work. We should never frustrate the holy spirit, but if we do, He will forgive us and show us another way! The first thing that will happen, is the same thing that happened to Christ. When you truly give yourself to Christ, Satan will be right there ready to tempt you. Just like Christ we must confront evil with good. The word of God! The only way that we can live in the spirit is believing that Christ died and rose again , and that his spirit will live in you! That's it. very simple, right? No, its not simple! We live in a world ruled by Satan. We cannot overcome Satan unless we are IN CHRIST! Peace is one of many blessings you will receive. If you have no peace, than you are probably not in the spirit of God!

Hello Harry. I feel your frustration. Once being led to the truth and being cleaned up a bit. It's truly sad to see how twisted this world really is. Just keep on giving it your best, to do what's right, brother. The Lord is with you always. Cry out to Him and pray, tell Him your frustrations and ask for help. One thing I always think of is "what good is a test if it's easy". Take it one day at a time. God Bless you brother.

verses 1-12 It is evident that the vineyard is God's people, planted and nourished. He sent His prophets, they were misused. He sent His Son, they crucified Him. He arose and ascended to Heaven. God made Him High Priest of Israel, see the book of Hebrews, especially ch7:12. God also made Him after the order of Melchisedec, the high priest and King of Salem. So He became King and High Priest of Israel. Then Jesus sent Paul to go get the Gentiles and bring them into the Kingdom, by faith into salvation. Thus the people of the Israel of God + the gentiles became one under Christ.

I have a crooked, short, peach tree in my backyard. This summer i was cutting the grass and found one little peach! So ,i bent over picked it up ,and it was absolutely, the best peach I ever had. I remind myself of this when I get depressed, even though it was a small piece of fruit, it was there. I will try to save this tree next year and hope that it will bear even more fruit next year! This tree is a good illustration of my life in a world that is without Christ! I hope that I will bear more fruit in my life, not because of what I do , but what Christ has already done for me! God Bless you!

Verse one refers to the night, which can indicate a spiritual atmosphere in which it's difficult to get through to God in prayer; the Bride-to-be-of-Jesus finds herself in this very predicament...."I sought Him, but I found Him not". The term bed would normally refer to a place of rest, but here it symbolizes a place of ease, because she had not responded to the Bridegroom's invitation to separate herself unto Him (in the previous chapter) by going to the mountains of Bether. In verse three, when the Bride-to-be asks the watchman of the city if they've seen her true-love, they don't have the depth of relationship in their walk in order to answer her. Thankfully, in verse four, her desperation soon brings her into the presence of the one she loves, and immediately she revels in her original encounter with Him (that would encompass her birthing, as it were, in the womb of the church).

If a person understands that there is only 1 God then you can not confuse Jesus as God .

    It's really that simple .

James did well when he said thou believes there is 1 God you do well , even the devils know this and tremble .

You are not doing well .

This shows STILL the Jewish people in the world ALL of them whether religious, cultural, Ashkenazi or Sephardi really need the Gospel for Salvation even today. Pastor Steven Anderson from Faithful Word Babtist Church and refuses to offer them the Gospel with a gracious attitude even in such spiritual blindness.

This light can also be the hope of humanity. The hope of eternal life. All of the sorrows of life, with it's disappointments, betrayals, illnesses and such likes cannot extinguish this eternal hope of mankind.
  • Alex - In Reply on Matthew 27 - 5 years ago
Comments by Alex on God the Son in Hebrews 1 it says unto the Son he says thy throne O God is forever. It was the FATHER himself that said that everything has multiply after His Kind in heaven and earth and we see that Jesus is able to multiply himself in humanity via his seed the word, and he said to whom the word came that good seed it made them Gods and the scripture cannot be broken. Jesus does not reproduce himself after mankind he neva had any flesh and blood children,All his children were spirits the H.G Plural simply b/c his seed is the WORD which is spirit thus his children are spirits Gods, He breathe on them and they received the H.G.,His breath was his word which is his seed as he said the Good seed is the words of God. His woman is the world as God so loved the world etc and the field is the WORLD where that good seed will be sown meaning humanity, thats y the Prophets saw the WORLD in travail and birth pains simply b/c of his precious seed the living word he reproduces after the God kind, thats y he is saying that which is born of the spirit is spirit thus he reproduces after the God kind proving he is truly God the Son. He only took on flesh and blood to die for the sins of the WORLD BUT HE SAID B/F ABRAHAM WAS I AM.. He even tells us his WORD is the very seed of the Kingdom. Only God cd reproduce after the SPIRIT/God KIND . There cd not be an Israel of God if Jesus cd not reproduce after the God kind which is the H.G. the child of Promise Sprits ( Gods ) That are gona BE BORN IN US SINNERS via his seed/word the new covenant. Whosoever receives one such CHILD IN MY NAME RECEIVES ME thats his offspring THE H.G. God .GB
