With regard to questions about Gods names, Jehovah Jireh means (God will provide ), as a sacrifice ! Jehovah Tsidkenu means (Lord is our righteousness ), all throughout The Word, God wants to reveal Himself to us and does this by telling us His different names which show aspects and traits of God by these different names! It is a great study of His names...
God told Moses what to say and what to do! Moses told Aaron what to say or do, because Moses felt he wasn’t a good speaker! Hope that helped!
It looks like someone was telling a story, but doesn't sound God's words, if those words have been told by human, so all humans make mistakes when they tell stories, but God doesn't make mistakes or either sends prophets to get drunk and let young daughters sleep with their own father. Otherwise God was absent when his prophets did sin or fornicated with his daughters. If God allowed this to happen with a prophet and have him write this story in the bible, so, can we (as humans) do the same with our daughters? By cancelling our brain and become like animals? I need some priest to answer me please. Thanks for your reply.
Oceans have currents, sure, which are apparent to any sailor or coastal dweller who pays attention, but what are "natural paths" exactly?
When we remember the poor, and take up our cross daily we are laying up treasures in heaven that will not pass away. The only inheritance that we should be concerned about, is what is being stored up in heaven. Jesus is the judge, and He will have us to give an account of how we used the treasures that He gave us, for the glory of God. So be like the ravens, who neither sow or reap, and yet our heavenly Father provides for them. So how much greater are we than they?
Genesis 4 is the only section of the Bible that tells the story of Cain (and Abel), though they are also mentioned in few other sections of the Bible. And one section is not enough to tell one’s whole life.
Yet the Bible says that Adam and Eve had two sons; Cain and Abel. Cain was land tiller and Abel sheep keeper. They both offered sacrifices of their fruits and God pleased only with Abel’s and was displeased with Cain’s; which caused Cain to get wroth with Abel, and ultimately slew him.
Genesis 4:
‘’11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;
12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.’’
A fugitive and vagabond shalt thou be, which means he would have no fixed settlement, he would move from place to place, he could be seen at a certain time and disappear again.
Verse 14 says ’’Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth;’’ Now, was Cain really driven from the face of the earth? The earth is figurative of man’s community. Cain lost harmony with the community.
Verse 16 says ‘’And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.’’ But could Cain really depart from the presence of the LORD ? No. this simply means Cain lost fellowship with GOD; otherwise he was still in face of the LORD.
Verse 17: ‘’And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived,..’’ Now what may be the space of time between verses 16 and 17? It certainly took many years during which Adam and Eve were having other sons and daughters and Cain was coming and going as vagabond. It is in the course of this time that he got one of his siters for wife.
Genesis 5:4 ‘’And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:’’
