Discuss Psalms 23 Page 12

When I heard the 23rd Psalm, it touched my heart so deeply. I could not read it without shedding tears of love and wonder for our Father God, Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. I was at that time walking through a dark valley of my life. It lasted a few more years after that. But, now I am free. Through all those years it has comforted me and pulled me through victoriously. Thank you my Lord

By family request I will be reading the 23rd Psalm in a memorial for a dear 95 years young lady. It is "her favorite". Says it all, for her faith, for her graciousness and for the love she invested in everyone around her. That investment continuous to bless us all. We will miss her, but are filled with joy to have known her here and are celebrating her victory with Jesus. !!

I am walking through a dark valley in my life right now, but god's light and righteousness will lead me through, i will be lead like a sheep because he is my shepherd, and protector. i love him and i know he loves me

Marilyn, accept my sympathy! This is one of my favorite scriptures. When I feel depressed and feel like there is no-one to talk to I find myself saying this prayer and concentrating on the words, and it has helped me go through the most difficult times in my life. The words are powerful and so is the Almighty God all the time!

I'm going through a tough time right now, so this Psalm is helpful in getting me to focus on having a trusting and positive attitude. I appreciate read the thoughts of other people.

Most popular Psalm to me. Compare this Psalm with Jesus Christ ,the "Good Shepherd" who gave His life for us His "sheep" . Jesus said " I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. And I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out my hand" John 10:11,27,28 .

I really love this scripture in the bible. It was one of the first scriptures I learned

Stop-- and see how many things are happening in your Life now.. How can you change it to the opposite in God's word? Look at how the enemy is closing in. Stop the darkness of your mind. Put in the Light of your Heavenly Father. Focus on the Best way to change your situation. And no matter what-- give it to your Father and watch the changes begin. I have fought many battles of this world. GOD WON!!

I read this psalms everyday. I think it helps me to calm down and keep trusting in him. He will always be with me.

The psalm is my guide and my shield always in my life and for my family. The Lord is enough for us... amen and amen .

I love this Psalms because there are so many promises for me. I thank God Daily for Goodness and Mercy following me all day long. Even when I didn t know that I needed Protection from danger surely they are with me. The Word says that He gives His Angels charge over us. Praise God for looking out for all of us. I give him special praises for taking care of me since my husband of 44 yrs died

I recite Psalms 23 every morning. I think about every word and it gives me strength and courage.

No matter what situation we are facing, we are reminded in tis scripture that we should have fate in God as He is always with us and in control of our situation

This particular psalm is one of comfort for his elect who live in an evil and unfriendly world who hate Christians and Christ. The psalm reminds us to pray for Gods healing power thru his holt spirit when we are feeling down and our spirits are troubled more so in this present age we love.

The 'Valley of the Shadow of Death' could for some people be the valley of grief over another's death- the emotionally traumatic results of sorrow.

I beleive the lord prepares a table in the presents of our enemy,,, meaning we will eat be susseful even if the devil is in the present... that is my life experence,,, amen?

This psalm proves over and over again that God is our Rock and provider. Halelujah!!!

The work of the shepherd is highly performed in silence as he alone understands the language and character of his flock. He is my shepherd, he understands me better than anyone else would. Always armed and ready to chasten if I go astray and protect me from any impending danger. God bless you.
