It 's the perfect prayer for every situation

It sounds like King David is making a declaration of trust in God in a life,,, b Death c Heaven - the life to come

surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all days of my life glory blongs to almighty GOD alone amen.

David is under the care of Jehovah God, while Saul is trying to kill him, yet the Holy Spirit gives David this Psalm to comfort him, knowing that the word of God is as a rod, and a staff that the Shepherd uses to fight off all enemies that would try to harm the sheep. So David knows God will protect him in every situation, while he walks through the valley, and shadow of death, which is but a metaphor in life.

Reading this Psalm gives me strength, guidance and assurance in God.

well I think that God is our only hope in this world,and he is telling me that we should want for nothing or ask for nothing cause he already knows what we need and want, and that we shouldnt be living the way that we are cause its the things of the world and we shouldnt want the things of the world, we all should just focus on the Lord at all times and it also tells me that no matter what people say about you or I or what they do to us that we should just pray to God for them and let God take over,and fear no man but to fear God amen

It took David decades of trial and error to become the man after God 's own heart. We are walking through the valley of the shadow of death the entire phase of our physical lives on earth. God has a table prepared before us during our time TOGETHER here on earth. But we must pray for eyes to see God and ears to hear God. This is not something we can obtain on our own. David was persistent in prayer and song as we must be. We are to become the doorways by which, through Christ, God pours his love into a chaotic world.

The Lord is our salvation have faith in The Lord and all things are possible . In due time he will make our enemies our foot stools. Be leave in The Lord . Praise be to God

God is all we can count on in this world of troubled times. And he is worthy.

Psalms 23 is all about when, who, where, why, what God is. He protects, restores, provides, he gives you fulfilment, peace and joy, he makes your enemies a footstool, he shows his boundless unconditional love, comfort and safety. He is unshakable and everlasting anchor.

I Praise God that surely Goodness and Mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. Because of this I will dwell in the house of the Lord foe ever. In the almost forty years that I have been with my Lord : Through the Good times and through the bad times : My God is Faithful as long as I call on Him and want Him in my life. Words cannot express how much we are loved by our Lord. Wonderful : Wonderful Love !!!!

Salms ch 23 means in a short sense as long as you trust in God when you pray don 't worry if you worry don 't pray because he will always be there

psalms 23 is a ch.of daivd plight with his eimeies, it shows how God "s loving protection is not only with Daivd but with us all.

Shadow of death mean god are with you if you belief in him not some time but all the time.

May you truly know the Shepherd. Reciting the the 23rd Psalm and knowing the Shepherd are two different things...may you me know the Shepherd. Get to know the Shepherd. Stop trying to put together a master for your life and for your happiness. Instead, seek out the Master 's plan for your life and for your happiness. Allow him to lead you, to guide you, to be your companion, your friend, your coach, and your mentor. He will lead you to green pastures. He will restore your soul. And your cup will overflow.

This book shows when you are with God, there is nothing that you cannot, because God is willing. When you read verse 8, u will know that God will never fails you, He will gives you good things,while the enemies are watching.

David was talking about Christ who did come as shepherd for the souls of men to turn them back to God the Father and guide us out of darkness into his light. He give up his life so the comforter would come from God to show us to the eternal life.

Disagree with the commentary "Thy rod and thy staff - Two words denoting the same thing, and both designing God 's pastoral care over him ", as a rod is used for discipline, safety, and staff for comfort, strength and leadership. However, the notion of God 's pastoral care is accurate.

The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want. all of my need are covered I am protected under the shepherd watch all is well no worries.

God 's amazing grace and mercy are incredible... He will never leave or forsake us, ever... Just as Psalm 23 shows, God has got us... Always.

Yes Jehovah is great all the time he knows whats good for us and will protect us and keep us in his loving arms always.

I fear no evil in the valley of the shadow of death because it is just that, a shadow. Shadows appear and then are gone. They have no power over us, cannot touch us physically. They just follow us around.

God Is Good

He is the awesome shepherd of our life. He is the one and only shepherd who will forgive our sins and still love us the same.
