Dear Lord Jesus in Heaven, my daughters boyfriends daughter is 4 years old. Her mother committed suicide on Friday, she was 31 years old. How do you tell a 4 year old that they will never see their mommy again!! I makes me so sad to think how she will feel! My heart is so shaken by this! This world ,with all its evil doings, I guess she couldn't deal with anything anymore!!! Please Lord Jesus, comfort Isabel in her time of grief, she's just a baby!! Also, I pray for Isaac and my daughter for they will have to raise Isabel together!!! My daughter is close to Isabel, they trust and have love for each other!! I pray Lord Jesus that you give them all comfort and strength in their time of need that so so freely give to all who know you and seek you!!! I've tried to explain to them that You are the only truth, trust, love, compassion, light, way, thanksgiving, kindness, Prince of Peace, always!!!! Simple words to encourage her & simple truths, without any graphic details may be best. There will be times as this initial shock has become less, as Isabel gets older you will have moments to talk about this more & it will be moments of teaching, revealing more truth, establishing more trust & healing.
