Hi brothers and sisters in Christ

Please pray for my mom as her sciatica pain is still hurting badly. Please also pray for my family's and I spiritual lives, we've gotten so used to be lazy in our faith. May we search out the Lord with all our hearts. Pray that we would love the Lord in truth, not just in word only.

Please also pray for assurance of my salvation. Doubts have been swirling in my mind and it's hard to find rest. Christ says to trust Him and I know there's nothing I can do to save myself, I just keep thinking what if I'm deceiving myself. I'm feeling hopeless, brothers and sisters please help

Dear Joleen, all Christians have times of doubt. Sometimes it's Satan trying to detour you from God. And doubt will also arise when we slack in our faithfulness in serving Him. Now, to be assured of your salvation, look back to the moment you asked Jesus to come into your heart. Did you believe in that moment that you were saved? Did you become a new creature, turning from your sins to serve the Lord? If so, now, ask Him to forgive you for being unfaithful, and continue in Him in prayer, studying the Bible, keeping His commandments because you love him, draw close to Him and He will draw close to you.
