    How can I explain the afterlife to my 8 year old ?

    I'm assuming you know the answer to what happens to us in the afterlife, so I would say to be honest with your child, God's Word is for every age, old and young. There are KJV bibles for 8-12 year olds, you and your child could read together, so you can explain, if there are any questions. The best answer is to allow God's Word to speak and teach.
