In addition to the many verses quoted earlier about obedience, I would like to add a few more: 1 John 2:3-4 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1 John 5:2-3 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. Revelation 12:17 ... And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, AND have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 14:12... Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, AND the faith of Jesus. Revelation 22:14... Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
