For your son Lamontriel make sure he knows

    1 Corinthians 15:1-4

"[1] Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; [2] By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. [3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

    and

    Philippians 4:4-9

"[4] Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. [5] Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. [6] Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. [7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. [8] Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. [9] Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you."

Telling these scriptures to him and spending time in the scriptures it will help to reduce his suicidal thoughts also have faith that God is able both you and your family have faith, (able to do what you might say?) able to give your son a peace of mind that passes all knowledge. This also goes for anyone.

Dear Dale, if this is a prayer request I'm sure you will have people praying for you. I think your assumption can be questioned, however. It sounds like you are demanding action from God as you wrote 'enough is enough' and you wrote "If God..." and you then wrote your expectations for how you would expect God to behave. Where did you come up with your expectations? Are they always 100% accurate and true? Have your expecations ever been wrong? How possibly could you know God's thoughts? I would suggest reading related scriptures in the Bible on this subject as it might offer a different perspective. There are discussions posted fairly often about why God allows imperfections and what we consider inconveniences to occur. Many of our own inconveniences are a result of our own actions, as well. Mankind seems mostly interested in their own comfort, pleasure, and fulfilling selfish meaningless desires while in this short temporary life on Earth. God has a different perspective than most people do.

What a people don't understand is that a lot has happened to Yah's chosen people. A good start will be Deut: 28:68 , Rev 2:9, Rev 3:9, read this and just think of who these people are, then you can properly understand the adoption
  • The Day Jesus was Crucified - In Reply on Psalms 91 - 4 years ago
You are experiencing what Jesus went through on His way to the Cross. Read the gospels of those events.

He was heckled, accused, beaten, scourged; mocked by those that heralded his entrance to Jerusalem, and then cruelly rejected days later at the Trial.

A time of darkness and the Hour of shadows. Satan believed he finally would have the Son of God killed: at his hands.

We are not to stand by and think that we alone are going through the shadows of evil, alone. If you stand with Jesus, you will be enabled to endure it. Even on the Cross, the 2nd thief said: you've saved others! Why don't you save yourself now! Jesus was dying for his sins too; but he refused to accept salvation.

This generation is set to die. You are seeing it. Don't be the 2nd thief. If you can accept this.... maybe you will instead, lead someone who is perishing into a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ? We are Jesus's BODY now. His hands, his eyes and ears; his feet, even His voice to tell of His power to forgive sins and to offer freedom from the penalty of those sins. Just tell what you know. You be His feet.

You already see the need. Just tell one other person what you know. The Holy Spirit will Help you.

    Mishael

A Person has to do more than just say I believe this and know they have read it. The 2nd verse says "I will SAY of the Lord..... Speaking God's Word is the key to seeing it work in our lives. We don't have to go in places shouting the Word, but we can say it to ourselves and God's angels hear His Word being spoken and respond to it.

If you read the commentary of Psalm 91, It explains all about MAN and GOD. LIKE! Psalms 91:1 - He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. ------- *** GOD ALMIGHTY is dwelling "in" MAN. MAN is the eye of GOD.

    Commentary for Psalm 91:12

The safety of those who have God for their refuge. (1-8) Their favour with Him. (9-16)

1-8 He that by faith chooses God for his protector, shall find all in him that he needs or can desire. And those who have found the comfort of making the Lord their refuge, cannot but desire that others may do so. The spiritual life is protected by Divine grace from the temptations of Satan, which are as the snares of the fowler, and from the contagion of sin, which is a noisome pestilence. Great security is promised to believers in the midst of danger. Wisdom shall keep them from being afraid without cause, and faith shall keep them from being unduly afraid. Whatever is done, our heavenly Father's will is done; and we have no reason to fear. God's people shall see, not only God's promises fulfilled, but his threatenings. Then let sinners come unto the Lord upon his mercy-seat, through the Redeemer's name; and encourage others to trust in him also.

9-16 Whatever happens, nothing shall hurt the believer; though trouble and affliction befal, it shall come, not for his hurt, but for good, though for the present it be not joyous but grievous. Those who rightly know God, will set their love upon him. His promise is, that he will in due time deliver the believer out of trouble, and in the mean time be with him in trouble. The Lord will manage all his worldly concerns, and preserve his life on earth, so long as it shall be good for him. For encouragement in this he looks unto Jesus. He shall live long enough; till he has done the work he was sent into this world for, and is ready for heaven. Who would wish to live a day longer than God has some work to do, either by him or upon him? A man may die young, yet be satisfied with living. But a wicked man is not satisfied even with long life. At length the believer's conflict ends; he has done for ever with trouble, sin, and temptation.

The Lord Gods name is I AM that I AM which is translated (i will be what i will be) the Lord God always existed and never stopped existing( Exodus 3:14-15). Jesus Christ is our Lord ( Philippians 2:11). The holy spirit reveals who the Father and the son are ( 1 Corinthians 12:3). There are 3 that bear witness in heaven and all are one( 1 John 5:7). These verses should sum it up pretty well:

    Isaiah 9:6

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Jesus Christ is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

    John 1:1-18

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Joy. Peace in the Holy Spirit. Anticipation for what is next. Falling more in love With Our Savior and Lord. Don't allow you happiness be diminished in that.

Peace, Joy and Happy anticipation for what is Next. Don't let anyone or any thing dampen what you are learning about the Lord.

    Philippians Chapter 3

12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] ONE THING I DO, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14 I PRESS toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

    Mishael
