All praise and glory is due to Jehovah God because he is the one who made the ransom provision possible.
  • Randy Guidry on 1 Corinthians 15 - 6 years ago
It would really be a blessing if you could add a feature to you app that would allow you to save a scripture that really speaks to you. Kind of like a favorites. Thanks!
  • Brianna vs. 27,28 on 1 Corinthians 15 - 6 years ago
The Bible says that while Christ was in Heaven he subjected himself to his father, God. So really, God and Jesus are not the same. God doesn't subject himself to anyone. I have been told that Jesus stated his father was greater than him while in the flesh. Yet, even in heaven he must subject himself to his father and God.So that his father may be all in all.

it's possible to live the life of righteousness; FOR THE POWER OF DEATH IS SIN AND THE STRENGTH OF SIN IS THE LAW... but we are save by grace through faith hallelujah! Ehp. 2:8 i'm no longer under the law. In Christ, i'm the fulfillment of the law.
  • BSP on 1 Corinthians 15 - 6 years ago
We must keep ourselves busy in the work of God and one of the most important things we can have a share in is the preaching work.
  • Larry Dustin on 1 Corinthians 15 - 6 years ago
self explanatory, according to the scriptures. Don't need a PH.D. Or a Lawyer.
  • Prophecy Bible Group on 1 Corinthians 15 - 6 years ago
The declaration of Paul the Apostle for the Church. What is the Gospel? It is in this sole declaration of 1 Cor 15:1-4. That Christ died for our sins according to the Scripture, He was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scripture. The Gospel is 75% negative and 25% positive. Christ died -ve; for our sins -ve; was buried -ve; and rose again ve.
  • Christian Man on 1 Corinthians 15 - 6 years ago
Verse two shows the reader there're such a thing as false converts. A point Ive never heard from a preacher, "unless ye have believed in vain." How many testimonies have you heard start with "I thought I was saved...then I realized I did not fully understand..."
This is a serious point to consider when soulwinning. Salvation is a simple concept often bungled. Discipleship is a must.
  • Redeemed on 1 Corinthians 15 - 6 years ago
Awake unto righteousness and sin not, for many have not the knowledge of God, I speak this to your shame. We as Christians our image bearers of the Holy One. And what anyone knows of Christ is he was and is sinless. And it is a shame for us to call ourselves Christians and live in sin. The foundation of God standeth sure having this seal, and let everyone that names the name of Christ depart sin.

Verse 10~Paul had done some terrible things in his past, but he had made great changes. Jehovah God accepted him now and Paul needed to forgive himself and realize that fact.

Verse 26: We all share a common enemy, which is death. What a wonderful day when this last enemy will be completely destroyed.

2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
  • Lily on 1 Corinthians 15 - 7 years ago
To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord
  • A disciple on 1 Corinthians 15 - 7 years ago
Hb; Paul said, Absent from the body, and present with the Lord. Solomon wrote, The spirit of man that goes upward, and the spirit of the beast that goes downward to the earth; and, Then shall the spirit return to God that gave it. The rich man dies and is buried, and immediately lifts up his eyes in the torment of fire in hell; while Lazarus was carried by the Angels into Abraham's bosom.

"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?" The greatest Word which the Lord Jesus has said to us, is the one most often having the least thought about and attention given and that is of ETERNAL LIFE! We may at times over our lives have "moments" of clarity, or fleeting glimpses of eternal reality for this whole existence is shrouded in vanity and vexation of spirit but there is a day coming to each and every one of us when we die, and will be awoken from this dream state! We want to be healthy and strong in this life, and not always be hunted by troubles and threats from the devil but how much can we really expect from such a ruin and alienated from God world, even if we had no adversity? This world and our present existence in it is decaying, and must at one point be taken away for ever for this is NOT God's final and glorious plan for man, in this world as it is! But we have a Word from the Son of God Himself, that we are not of this world, but have been chosen and called from out of it, and that we belong to God, and He has given us Jesus, to be with Him in glory and live for ever.
  • Greg on 1 Corinthians 15 - 7 years ago
It is good to know that God provided a way to heaven through His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus would not lie and would not come to earth just to be labeled a good person, prophet, or miracle worker. He came to end spiritual death for all those that would rely on His blood sacrifice for their salvation. Good works is not the answer if so than his blood is powerless. Works are corruptible not His blood
  • Craig on 1 Corinthians 15 - 7 years ago
Paul preach the gospel of grace.
  • William S on 1 Corinthians 15 - 7 years ago
He was never talking about dead people being raises he was talking about the seed that dies.remeber I die daily. Your not quickened except you die. Dead to sin. Dead Do u understand it is a mystery .
  • Emanuel Fernandes on 1 Corinthians 15 - 7 years ago
The kjv to me is everything it's my spirtual mirror it shows me as I look to the lord it's my milk and meat and when I sin it cleanses me with the washing of water by the lord but reading is not enough FAITH COMETH BY HEARING of the word of God. I listen to kjv Bible believers frequently I NEED THE WORD IN MY HEAD VIA THE EYES AND EARS so I bring every THOUGHT to the obedience of Christ !!!!
  • Linda on 1 Corinthians 15 - 7 years ago
Its a Lot to digest, then I thought after I thought that, that it makes sense because we are being fed the Word of God when we read the Word. What do you think? Anyone? This Chapter says so much. Paul had a conversion to Jesus like many have not experienced as far as we know. I love that we shall be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of and eye. I am so thankful for Jesus. Thank the Lord!
  • Charles Bonsu on 1 Corinthians 15 - 7 years ago
    Amen.
  • Peter A. Okebukola on 1 Corinthians 15 - 7 years ago
Note the mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
  • A disciple on 1 Corinthians 15 - 7 years ago
"But why were some too dull to make sure they had Oil for their Lamps?" Its not merely wearing the decorations and ornaments of a Christian costume that will either enable us to endure to the end, or be eventually welcomed into the Wedding Feast of the Lamb; but the intelligence to rightly use what has been provided us, and the holy diligence to REALLY MAKE SURE WE'RE READY FOR HIS COMING!
  • A disciple on 1 Corinthians 15 - 7 years ago
"But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." The greatness and generosity of God is more than any of us will ever understand. As it says in the Psalms, His understanding is infinite i.e. There is no number! Yet we must make sure our calling and election is in the same Spirit as His holiness and love of righteousness and truth that cannot abide a character unfit for His presence and fellowship. He has made every possible provision for our salvation and safe arrival home to Himself after our time here. So what then was the difference between the wise and the foolish virgins? They all were called, and all had the Wedding Garments and Lamps! But why were some too dull to make sure they had Oil for their Lamps? Why sit there waiting like an idiot with no oil for your Lamp? Do you just want to carry a useless lantern, while your hands could be freed up to carry other things? Better make sure how important this Wedding, and the Bridegroom really is to you or don't waste your time!

Excellent! You are Right On. Hold Fast that which is Good.
  • A disciple on 1 Corinthians 15 - 7 years ago
"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." After Noah entered the ark and the LORD shut him in; how many were afterwards saved? The morning that Lot went out of Sodom, and the LORD rained fire and burning sulphur from heaven and destroyed all; who remained to after be saved?

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. Because of Adam, we will still sin and die. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. I thank God for the blood of Jesus Christ . Jesus love me so much, how great is that. Thank you Jesus..
  • Douglas Gilbert Wells on 1 Corinthians 15 - 7 years ago
If man had not listen to the first adam which told a lie. Which sounded good for it feed the flesh which will die at. The seconding coming of Jesus Christ of Isreal The second adam will set straight what the first adam did
  • Ray321 on 1 Corinthians 15 - 7 years ago
12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Now after believing what Jesus did on the cross for my sins and dieng and rising from the dead three days. I now am saved and will be persecuted daily for his glory by living and spreading the Word of God. To die is gain, but to live is Christ Jesus. Glory be to God. Amen
