Our LORD'S Word is so deep. Beyond our comprehension which is why the LORD gives us His Spirit of truth. At 1 Corinthians 2:12-15, it describes a spiritual person as one who receives the spirit that is from God. This spirit is God s active force, and its operation is a prerequisite to getting to know spiritual things. A person is thus able to examine and understand issues from a spiritual perspective. By contrast, a person lacking God s spirit is called a physical man, one who considers spiritual things as foolishness. As a result, his conclusions are limited to what human wisdom alone reveals. Hence, while our spiritual capacity stems from being made in God s image, genuine spirituality is not realized through self-awareness, human wisdom, or personal achievement. It requires the influence of God s holy spirit. In fact, those who refuse to be influenced by God s spirit, choosing instead to pursue their own desires and ungodly things, are described as not having spirituality. They are driven by fleshly appetites and inclinations. Awake 12 09

There is no doubt the promises attached to this verse can 't be compared money or any material gain. Ignorance has a way of keeping you around your destiny but the Holy Spirit has a way of revealing it to you.

Sorry to see so many people mislead on what God wants of us The Church did not start at Pentecost but was empowered. The Lord gave 2 ordnances to the church the Lord supper and Baptist both which were observed prior to Pentecost. Jesus himself started the church and it is only blood bought sinner covered under the blood Jesus said I am the way there is no other way. The thief on the cross is in heaven today no baptism no tithe no church membership it was his simple faith and trust in his Lord. He said Lord remember me when you come into your kingdom And Jesus said Today shall thou be with me in Paradise. Shake off religion do as a religious Saul did on the road to Damascus get real salvation and the rest is history. His religion did nothing for him but Jesus did OH what a difference Jesus makes.

Greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ. I read some of the comments on being born again. The instructions were given on the Day of Pentecost when the Church was established after the Lord ascended. You must repent, and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ,not father,son,Holy Ghost,which are titles and not names. Only one Name given whereby ye must be saved,the precious name of Jesus. OBEY ACTS 2:37,38

He that is Spirt judges all things the way he wants, to me this conotes dominion of the things and people of the earth, so we have things the way we want provided they are all according to the will of God.

This verse gives insight into why this mortal world is in such a state of un-love towards one another. No matter what race creed or color or which faith you subscribe too. God knows who He made and what he made us for and we can only understand this really by Him 2ND Cor.2-14

we are still far below the content of this chapter. Our sermons are full of enticing words with little demonstration of powerpower.only few Christians have the mind of christ. Majority are what the world calls normal christians, talk, behave, as poor, sick, depressed like unbelievers.This means majority have not to totally committed their lives to Christ.Therefore are not born again.Christ wants total commitment just as He ministered to The rich young ruler.Pastors should preach the demonstration of power of the Holy Ghost not entertaining sermons.

It is simple. Christ Crucified. As Christ said on the Cross. It is finished.Look to the Cross. Paul was telling the church at Corinth it is Christ Crucified. It is the same today. The churches need to preach the doctrine of Christ Crucified.

When i read the Christys comment about how Jesus changed her life and how gratefull she is and in awe of The Almighty God who revealed this truth of His Son The Lord Jesus Christ it brought me close to tears as it is the same as i feel. We love Jesus because He first loved us. We did nothing and couldnt ever do anything to deserve this gift. The greatest gift we could ever receive. My life was a complete mess and Jesus rescued me. Jesus is the lifter of my head. I have been bought with a price. I am not my own I belong to Jesus. What could be better than that. Stay in the Word. Read it learn it apply it. There are so many false teachers out there. The word speaks for itself for salvation. Redemption discipleship discipline holiness righteousness. I love the scriptures tgat rebuke correct and warn. These are precious as they keep us grounded.

This chapter after I read it deals with, faith , hope, and believing God 's word and also. trusting what He has said and believing that he will do just what he said He would, that encourages me , give me a spiritual push from the Holy Ghost.

This stuff can be taken so many different ways its impossible to figure out what is really meant by it. I thinks it is time for a new bible. One written for modern times.

Comments on v14 praise God this verse is why we must stop trying to saved people because the word tells us No man can come too God unless God draw him that why it seen like the more we talk to family and friends about God they keep acting the same way because they just cannot understand spiritual things so the Godly thing to do is to live a Godly life before them and Pray for them and when God open up there spiritual ears and draw them they will answer him u see God has his job to do and we have our is to be witness and if they say no give them to God pray he will answere prayer

This scripture excites me but also causes me to pause......how important it is for us to draw close to the Holy Spirit who will give us great revelation of the things of God!

That spirit of the world, or air, pervades Satan s world. It impels people to think, plan, speak, and act in ways that reflect the mind of Satan, the proud, defiant ruler of the authority of the air. Therefore, knowingly or unknowingly, those infected by the world s spirit allow their minds and hearts to be influenced by Satan, so that they reflect his thinking and attitude. As a result, they do what they want, without regard for the will of God. We should be determined to keep separate from the world by resisting its evil spirit.
