Colossians 1:12-20
Hebrews 1:1-2
Jesus Christ is Lord. God Bless us everyone!
How could that be ?
Jesus being born of God was one with God more then any of us know , because his relationship was never interrupted by sin from the womb of Mary .
Yes only He had this , even John the Baptist the greatest of all apostles said He was not worthy to undo his Shoe laces ! Wow do you get it ?
The in verse 3 they stated that our fellowship is with the Father and son .
Jesus being one with God by perfect living his whole life not only demonstrated but also could teach the way of God by his genuine experience. God testified that Jesus well pleased him , yes his Son Jesus .
Jesus was able to reveal God like no other , because he was born of God . With a mission to save the world .
That takes a lot of God to do that , and he did it . any wonder why he is now at the fathers right hand ?
He was not there before but he is now at Gods right hand , because he deserves it . And it's all Gods sovereign plan . Jesus said not my will but your will be done to his father
when faced with the most difficult task ! Wow even brave Peter denied him and ran away !
Yes Jesus revealed the life of God and so much more , to them so they write in 1 John .
Spiritual life in God . And Jesus is the true leader and did it all perfectly.
There is so much more that could be said but it's longer than I like already .
Thank you
New International Version
14 "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven
John 5:35
"He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light."
John 5:36
"But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me."
God throws our sins as far as the East is from the west. Which is an infinite line.
I put 2 little stars by it to indicate I was commenting on that verse.
Also I thought by your post, there was some sort of doubt.
If you are offended I am sorry about that.
There was no need to accuse me of false teaching. I forgive you.
John 5:14 "Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee." Jesus says here "Sin no more"
John 8:11 "She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more." And again here, "Sin no more". There's no room for big or little sin in sin no more.
So if Jesus told both man and woman to sin no more, how much sin can you and I do after salvation? NONE.
Jesus is bigger and more powerful than the sinning Christian experience, the get saved every night at your bedside experience, or the once saved always saved experience.
Here is what Jeremiah records that God said on false ministry:
Jeremiah 23:21, 22
"I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings."
Any preacher that teaches you cannot be saved from is a liar and God did not send him or her. If the preacher teaches of a god that is too weak to save you from sin, they are teaching about a false god.
So again I'll ask what I did earlier that has yet to be answered; If you could stop sinning, would you? If you say no, then you told on yourself that you'd rather sin. If you say yes, then why haven't you stopped the sin business? If you are going to spend an eternity with God in His Heaven, you stop the sin now. If you excuse sin, it tells us you aren't right in your heart.
Psalms Chapter 103
10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
**12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions (sins) from us.
13 Like as a father pitieth [his] children, [so] the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
I agree. As long as Satan is loose on this earth he will be busy constantly/continually tempting everyone ....especially Christians. We are "not perfect" so we will slip at times. We can be assured that when we do sin....we can ask Christ to be forgiven.
Jesus tells us below
Luke 17:4
"And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him."
Jesus will forgive us when we sin, if we ask and repent. He knows our heart, and he knows if we are trying our best and he understands each of us!
God Bless.
"Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." It requires salvation from sin first.
2 Timothy 3:17
"That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." This word perfect is in reference to spiritual perfection through Jesus Christ. It is not to be confused with physical perfection, which is not possible.
Galatians 6:7
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." Those that remain in sin will be judged as lost and their reward is eternity in Hell. Those that live sinless after repentance and salvation are going to Heaven. Children under the age of accountability are innocent before God our Judge and will make Heaven their home as well.
Titus 2:11,12
"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;" Salvation from sin can be obtained here on Earth in this life. Without salvation from sin, you are still lost, and have just gained religion and are not righteous before God.
Hebrews 4:12
"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." God sees your heart's hidden intents to hold onto sin, to be deceived and to deceive others that freedom from sin is not possible. May He have mercy on you that you should see the truth before you die lost, forever to be tormented in Hell.
Great post.
All sin everyday.
Even the most holy walking among us today.
All are in need of repentance, everyday.
1 John 1:8
Matthew 5:28
MATTHEW 18:21-22
This is a common point of confusion among believers. The scriptures above say everyone sins. This includes Christians. Paul himself struggled with sin, not his past, but sins of present and temptations: Romans 7:15-20. If Paul, one of the pioneers of Christianity admits to that, what are the odds someone else is without sin. Zero. Jesus was the only perfect being who never sinned on Earth. If you're following Jesus your sins are forgiven by the debt He paid on the cross (grace), but that doesn't mean you're not sinning. Some people think a miracle happens or history is rewritten, no, you can even continue to suffer the consequences of that sin but still be forgiven. There are lots of ways to sin and Christians probably unknowingly sin every day, whether impure thoughts, lust, dishonesty, bad thoughts towards someone. But Jesus challenges us to be perfect, to strive to be pure, to not follow the world. This differs from a new teaching from satan which is spreading around Christians that claims that it's impossible for Christians to sin, therefore enjoy yourself, follow the world if you want, because it doesn't matter. That talk is contrary to what Jesus said and is straight from the devil. We're supposed to strive to avoid sin just like Paul, and when we mess up , confess and ask for forgiveness, but don't beat ourselves up about it either as long as we're following and pursuing Jesus our sins are forgiven. God bless...
What of Matthew 1:21 He shall save them from sin. How can we be saved from sin if we continue to do it? The answer is you can't. God is not accepting those that are actively sinning into His kingdom or Heaven. In the beginning, Adam and Eve were expelled from the garden of Eden for their sin. Any that sins in the present tense is not in the kingdom of God. And living free from sin after repentance is possible through God's power not ours. Last thing, repentance is sorrow and gaining God's forgiveness from sins in the past, not ever for the present or future. If you sin presently, God's forgiving grace is voided by your disobedience. And if you harbor desire to sin in the future, God sees your intents and will not accept your repentance.
Why do so many believe He is not God when it is written in His word? How can one expect admittance to heaven that do not believe Jesus is God and call themselves a Christian?
It is written in Matthew "For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." Confess Jesus as God. If His word is not in us the saving message of Christ has not taken root. Read your Bible and understand.
The Son, the second person in the Trinity, has a l w a y s e x i s t e d with the Father. God sent the light of the world, Jesus. We are called to walk with God in the light (for only he is without sin and we will never be on par with Him) our purpose includes us to confess our sins and follow the commandments.
Pray to Jesus to forgive both sins you know you did and those you're not sure you did-that would cover your dreams or half second wrong thoughts. Work toward being the love of God perfected by keeping His commandments.
Understand now what His love for you is, love and forgive one another as you would want Him to do for you.
There is a way to do this, it is called repentance to God. Jesus did not die on the cross to save you and yet you still sin. If upon your physical death you are still sinning, you do not enter Heaven as your eternal home. Look at 1 John 3:9, 10 sin is of the devil and those born of God do not sin. True repentance includes sorrow, acknowledging disobedience to God, confessing these to God, asking for forgiveness of them, and having a heart change that you will not do the sin again. Only then does God forgive you of your sins. And salvation does not forgive past, present, and future sin only those from the past only.
A true heart change is a second work of grace that a person that's been saved will ask for and it is called sanctification. Romans 12:1 tells us about presenting yourself to God as a sacrifice, holy and acceptable. A sinner is not holy or acceptable. As in Luke, repent or likewise perish. Even those that just lie now and then, unrepentant, will not go to Heaven. Revelations 21:8
Romans the 6th chapter verse 1 asks if we shall continue in sin that grace may abound. Ro. 6:2 the answer God forbid.
Satan lied to Eve in the garden, telling her that she'd not die if she disobeyed God, but she did die spiritually the moment she sinned. Satan lies to religious men and women today by telling them you can't live free from sin. By yourself, no you cannot. With the help of God, then yes you can, after repentance.
My dreams in the past have shown specific sin within my life. They pertained to unclean thoughts or desires. I believe the temptation in the dream pertained to the worldy desires within my heart. The deep secrets that we keep. God sees all of them and I believe, in my opinion, that sometimes he shows us. The dream seems to be a test. As you say we don't have the ability to control the dream but what resides within our heart is simply what occurs or is seen.
As my walk has grown stronger;
I have found more recently that within similar dreams I was not tempted as before. Or felt in the dream that I did not want to "participate" or see..and the dream ended. A test of the heart and faith now passed?..
Have the eyes committed sin? If so repent.
Maybe the Holy Spirit is showing a specific sin.
Maybe a demon is tempting you through lust.
Maybe it is God testing you.
God works in mysterious ways!
Again, my opinion through personal experience.
Your job is to bind the Strongman and CAST it into dry places, in Jesus Of Nazareth NAME.
Now get informed about invisible demons in Ephesians 6. Check your house and computer for anything they're using fo a door, to come sneaking back in. Yeah, they search through our secret belongings.
Cast out familiar spirits and unclean spirits.
I found my list of spirits today and will be sharing that little by little.
I play Christian music in the home and the angels love it, and the demons hate it and leave.
He is GOOD and MERCIFUL and JUST and He will forgive us of our sins because our Father sent His Son to die for us, so His blood will wash us clean.
"Life is in the blood", I've heard that and thought: of course life is in the blood, because without blood we would die. But today I saw it in a different light. "Life is in The blood", His blood, that cleanses us and washes us clean, but also gives us LIFE! A new and a different kind of life from this earthly world. Spiritually, we have LIFE! Eternal life because we are His!
But in the Word it also says not to sin willfully. Meaning, if you know right from wrong, take the the right rode. Listen to the Holy Spirit and what He is telling you to do. Always obey your parents. Walk through life with reference to what the Bible says.
Always check yourself, don't rush things because patience brings peace. Don't ignore the Holy Spirit, if you do, it leads to roads that will make you steer from the ways of the Lord and before you know it, you could be so far off into the world, you start doubting the existence of God, of Jesus, and you could even find yourself going against Him, denying Him, hating Him. And you NEVER want to go there, it's a scary place to be.
If you know you shouldn't be writing, singing, watching something or dancing a certain way, talking a certain way, wearing certain clothes that will make men or woman lust after you, than don't do it, don't run over the Holy Spirit.
And of course I am guilty of doing just that. So I know it's a real fight to free from temptation. But a little tip to help you stay away from temptations from Satan: Stay away from anything that would put you in a position where you would face temptations.
Praise the Lord through anything & everything.
Love the Lord with all your might, heart, mind and soul, Love Him with an everlasting love...
Just as He has loved you
One very important part of this race is not so to worry about how far ahead is the finish, but that we had Peace with God and man at the beginning of this race by faith and repentance in our born again experiences.
Satan will challenge every member of the race with doubts and fears, yet with that initial understanding we can determine by His Peace that we are still in the race.
Thank you for your thoughts!

1 Corinthians 6. The first part of the chapter refers to Christians going to the law against other Christians.
Here Paul is preaching to a mixed group I believe: Jews, Gentiles, believers
All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doth is outside the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Why do you feel you need to approve or disapprove everything someone says? Did Jesus? He taught patiently, used parables so everyone could identify with what he was saying. Quoted the law and then presented what Grace is.

Paul tells us to trust in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus and that is the gospel of Grace. That is salvation for us in the age of Grace. God's grace for all who believe. Don't put your trust in your ability to keep all the commands and to live a righteous life. Cause you can't, and God already knows that. That is why He sent us His Son.
