It is should be plain for all to see, that when we love YHWH, we keep his commandments. Sadly, the church, so called, teaches that the commandments are "done away with ". Or as some say, "that stuff is for Jews ". What utter nonsense. The following are just a few supporting scriptures to add to 1John 2:4. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates of the city. Rev 22:14 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 1John 2:3 For this is the love of YHWH, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 1John 5:3 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments and teach men so, and shall teach men so, he shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven: but whoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Matt 5:19 By lack of study, we have allowed ourselves to be deceived by foolish teachers, making ourselves to be fools.

The first thing we must understand is that LOVE NOT THE WORLD OR ANYTHING THAT BELONGS TO TH E WORLD is a COMMAND and who is the COMMAND given to ? 1. The COMMAND is given to those whose SINS are FORGIVEN 1 JOHN 2:12 2. The COMMAND is given to those who have DEFEATED the EVIL ONE 1 JOHN 2:13 3.The COMMAND iS given to those who KNOW the FATHER 1JOHN 2:14 MEANING THE COMMAND ' ' LOVE NOT THE LOVE WORLD OR ANYTHING THAT BELONGS TO THE WORLD ' ' IS A COMMAND TO EVERY BELIEVE OR CHRISTIAN .....AND THEREFORE WE MUST HATE WHAT GOD HATES!!! The second thing we must also understand is that the COMMAND LOVE NOT THE WORLD OR ANYTHING THAT BELONGS TO THE WORLD is not refering to the Human World 1JOHN 3:16 but Satan 's System of ruling 1JOHN 5 :19 MARANATHA!!!!!!!! REPENT! AND LOVE NOT THE WORLD OR ANYTHING THAT BELONGS TO THE WORLD BECAUSE JESUS IS COMING VERY QUICK REVELATION 1:7

Directed at all of us, but especially those destined to reign with Christ and crush Satan 's head. Enough is enough. We see how THEY 'd enemy rules... His son is about to show all how his father rules... When he slams the enemy in dense darkness reserved for him and his demons. He wars against the remaining seeds on earth right up till now, be he can never win. He no longer belongs of JHWH, but seeks to destroy them that do, just as he sought to destroy Jesus. We know the outcome then. We now the outcome now! Wake up, and stay on the watch!

I have found the Bible verse that I believe defines who I am. I John 2:27. I have always known the Holy Spirit, He is my teacher. He sent me to the Army in 1953, led me to God 's plan for my career 37yrs 2mo . Last 20 years the Holy Spirit has been teaching me.

An old commandment which you had from the beginning seems to be a reference to keeping Holy the Sabbath. To worship the Father by using the day of rest to refresh our spirit, walking with Him, spending time with Him, and being joyful in our worship of Him.

I love the the way 1john exsplains the true love for God.

This is a beautiful chapter. It teaches us the way we ought to care and love for one another. We are encouraged to love not the things of the world because they are not of God but of the world and as Christians we should not be partakers or doers of the world. This is sound doctrine as God wants us to walk in the beauty of Holiness all the days of our lives with Him leading the way.

Colossians 1:22,23. The stipulation is IF YOU CONTINUE IN THE FAITH then will you be presented Holy, unblameable, unreproveable in his sight. Even John 3:16 says "should not perish " free will is the determining factor here. God does not turn us into robots apon conversion, we still choose to continue in the faith or not.

God is light 1John 5 If you keep his commandments 1 John 3 23 believe that Jesus is his son and love those that do Then god who is light will dwell in you and you will dwell in him 1 John 3 24 then you will come out of darkness into the light God

Do not love the things of the world. Pleasure, Treasures, Jewels Materialistic things. If any man love the world the love of the Father is not in him. Scripture says Seek those things which are above not on things on the earth! do not seek material worldly things! Seek Jesus!

we should always stay away from evil thoughts because soon He is coming back and also meditate on the word of God so that we dnt fall to the temptation of this world. In additional we should always leave in truth,love and unity.

The word says by the truth do not sale it, get wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Jesus said I am the way I am the truth I am the life,no one come to the father except by me. So, Jesus gave Himself to be the truth, He said The devil was a murder and has been from the begining, and does not stand in truth for there is no truth in him, when he speaks he speaks from his own resources and that is why ypu do not believe me.

Can we love our wives? I know we must love our wives but I suppose should never put even our wives above the Lord.

The Ten Commandments were given to show us what sin is. Thousands died when the Law was first given. Jesus showed us Grace. Thousands were saved when Grace was given. Look to Jesus, not the Ten Commandments. Israel thought they could keep the law but they were wrong.

Love not the world (in which we live) neither the things that are in the world ( money, houses, clothes, cars, jewelry, any device made good or evil or the pleasures of this world. If (is a condition) any man love the world the love of the Father is not in him. We cannot love God and mammon there must be a choice made either or. Strait is the gate and narrow is the way and few there be that find it. Will you find your way to the Father, Son Jesus , and the Holy Spirit?
We cannot focus if our minds ,hearts, and souls, are not seeking him. We are or become void meaning empty inside.

The Apostle John is telling us to abide in Jesus Christ, so that when He appears, we will have confidence, and not be ashamed at His coming. We must provoke one another to love, and good works as we see the day of Christ appearing. For many will turn away their ears from hearing the truth, and will be turned unto fables. So do not be tossed to and fro by every wind, and wave of doctrine. Jesus is the only way to the Father, and who ever denies that Jesus is the Son of God, is of the antichrist. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father, except by Him.

This world is going to pass away so it is very important not to love the world or the things in the world. We need to make sure of what the will of God truly is and make sure that we are doing that will. This is a matter of whether we pass away with the world or we live forever.

Most of us are still confused and make thoughtless statements that the Commandments has been nailed to the cross and hence we do not need to keep them, this is apostasy.The Ten Commandments still exist beacuse it is the character of GOD and the Law is Immutable.

The special attention n recognition given to the whole church composition:the old,young n children, calls upon each christian to live responsibly right ie according to the TRUE knowledge of Christ that we all are expected to have.
