Thank you, Lord, for Jesus who sent his Spirit to live in our hearts, the only temple you ever wanted. Amen.

Speaking on the will of God...having faith, studying His word, meditating on His word. You will know His will because Hebrews 8:10 says......I will put my laws into their mind, and write them on their heart: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people He has given us the tools necessary to live accordingly. Be Blessed

God's will, will confirm by His Word, God does not work out of His Word, He will always abide within written Word.

To have faith means to agree with God/Will of "I AM". How can we agree with God/Will of "I AM" if we have not heard His will?

End of day 92 Bible in a Year Reading. At last the temple. The Israelites kingdom and distinction was that they were a people unto the Lord. Their very lives, the lives of their posterity and obviously there eternal destination was linked to God who made them His exclusive people to demonstrate His grace, love and mercy to those that depended upon Him.

Chapter 7:50 And the bowls, and the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers of pure gold; and the hinges of gold, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, to wit, of the temple.

Victor Hugo (Les Mes) wrote that in the old days most people were completely illiterate - so it was important to have grandiose buildings to fill people with a sense of awe - that need decreased as literacy increased, according to his reasoning.

Diameter of outside of bowl is 10 cubits, diameter of inside bowl is 30 cubits (to calculate volume), if you take into account the thickness of the bowl and add that to the circumference you will get the value you need for Pi.
  • Andrew on 1 Kings 7 - 12 years ago
    7:23
Ten cubits in diameter and thirty in circumference? God got pi wrong...

IN THIS CHAPTER, IT REMINDS ME OF HOW SPECIFIC GOD IS WITH HIS DIRECTION. WE MUST OBEY AND NOT ADD NOR TAKE AWAY.

and still the sons and daughters of Beelzebub build churches and monuments to show how much they love God. The possibility of salvation en masse is hardly conceivable: Perhaps an individual here or there can grasp at God's reality and enter that world. For everyone else reflected glory is the best to hope for. Teachers! Let them worship in Solomon's temple!
