God gives all of us a choice, but he knows mankind will never ever come to Him by choice. So to ensure some of us will get to heaven...

Martha, I believe v25 is referring to Deut. 16:16 which says, "Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabanacle: and thy shall not appear empty". Glory be to God in the highest through our Lord and savior Jesus Christ Amen!

It is important to discern that all God's promises are conditional, if you do that, then i will do this. so i do not believe on predestination but i believe on repentance and character' change,we see that the throne of Israel was established by righteousness and uprightness of conduct..;cause what God demands for us is not impossible.

Every one who loves the Lord wants to obey him but I do know that is not always the case. I was surprised to find out there was an navy back then. I should not be suprised but I am It makes me want to read more to find out that what we have today was back in the biblical times.

In this chapter we are to recognize, "freewill". We have a choice to obey GOD's Word, and receive the blessings that goes along with it, or disobey GOD's Word and receive the just rewards of disobedience.
