I enjoyed reading everyone 's thought on what the scripture meant to them and everything that is stated is how I feel internally. I have lost a job of servicing 22 years, single parent and put daughter in college for 4 years, was abandoned by mother and father, went to foster care and then raised by family member, but though it all God prevailed. I didn 't understand a whole lot of things in growing up but now I know Jesus for myself. I called on him when I was pregnant and God truly helped me raise my child. I had assistance from married couples that helped me along the way not by money but time and compassion. Thank you Lord.

God is so awesome,he is the joy of my life.Like the song stay what more can he do, He he has laid the foundation open up the way what more can he so .I Thank Jesus Christ for all he haS ' done .Amen

Whatever we are going through Our GOD is able to take care of us. The Lord wants his children to have life and more abundantly. We must truly remember to call on Jesus in our times of trouble and lean not to our own understanding. May GOD Bless and Keep You!!! Amen

The scriptural verse is working for me since 1990s,anytime I found myself in a crossroad and it seems God is silent,i will praise and chant 1peter5:10,and the issue will come out fine.

A roarling lion is sleepless when its hungery, so being vigilant or rather watchful should indeed be the behaviour of every tru christian. Being sobar does not imply to the drunkards only. Remember an idol mind is the workshop of the devil.

I believe this scripture is letting us know that God dose not want us to worry about anything.His son Jesus Christ,took every care,that we may ever be confronted with and nailed it to the Cross on Calvary 2000 years ago.Amen! Because he is the burden bearer ,and a mind regulater.He is also a heart fixer.He can handle whatever we can not.He wants to live a CAREFREE life.

I think this is very helpful for all who are christian

Be a Teacher, and lead by example. Do good deeds and humble yourself before GOD. When this is done as prescribed, then you will see how it benefits all that you have taught, and HIS teachings will spread and make the community world a better place.

I need it explain in the simplest terms.

1 PETER CHAPTER 5 1 15 15 It is an exhortation and humility to us. In v6-7 is a way how we humble and trust ourselves unto the sight of our Lord. As what also written in PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7. We shall always TRUST AND OBEY unto our Lord Jesus Christ. A-men.

This scripture closely read with Ephesians 5:16 "Redeeming the time, because the days are evil " tells us that we are expected to be more spiritual to win the battles of life...the devil is out and about on a warfare with spiritually empowered people...May His Grace help us to do so, in Jesus name, Amen!

It 's wonderfull

1Pet5 reminds me of the need for leaders to earn their respect by showing concern for the followers and lead the way. Followers too should be good enough to humbly and supportively follow their leaders. This is a great lesson for us in the secular, political and religious world.

I love how God does it. To be holy you must accept your sins, To be uplifted you must be humble. Amazing character of God.

Cast to me means When the cares of life try to break me down I think about the net that 's launched in the deep sea to draw fish it 's empty my soul sometimes is but once I throw the net my cares upon Jesus in prayer once I lift up my head my net my soul is filled with all kinds of fish such as joy peace love hope and endurance. There is no longer room for fear or Satan to sneak in and try to stress and worry me because I would have conquered that old devil by "Casting " throwing him back in the put of hell where he belongs! I pray this helps you in dealing with Casting your cares upon God He loves us so much . Amen!

Sometimes we try to bear our own burdens but we must not forget to cast them on the Lord. If we don 't cast them on the Lord we become bound and unable to operate in His purpose.

I think of when i was suffering became a single mom, grandma died,best friend died suddenly,lost my job, but then it propelled me to go back to school get my masters degree when i was told i wasn 't college material. I am so happily married now with a terrific job that pays extremely well.

I am going to be out of job and my mind is going all over but the Lord comfort me with this verse. As I cast my care to the Lord, He take over and I dont fear anymore. God is just marvelous.

The Devil as a roaring lion walks about seeking whom he may eat up. So resist the Devil and he will flee. We do this by quoting scripture as Jesus did and the Devil will have to go. Don 't listen to the lies but believe the truth of the Word of God. Don 't drink too much wine, but be sober so that you can think clearly.

This is so profound. according to my understanding When one is drunk of alcohol their forget about everything and they lose sight of where they are and what they are doing. But once you become sober you think twice before you act. Therefore When we remain sober we are able to act fast and we Don 't lose sight in the Lord we become aware of where we at. Its important that we keep close to the Lord and obey the holy sprite At all time simply because it can see what our naked eye can not see. remember to be vigilant at all time

The roar of a lion paralyze 's, when the prey he is hunting freezes in its steps, it gives the lion an easy target. Don 't let the roar of evil people stop you. Keep moving forward

This scripture re assures, giving the confidence that God is in control. pressure is part of God 's exit strategy. There was no throne for joseph without tribulation. Gods word gives life.

When God says cast, he really mean it, he 's capable of handling every situation that is why he said in Jhon 15 vs 5c "For without me ye can do nothing "Only him is capable of caring for u.

He is God and he is above all,he care about each and every one.what ever we are going through we have to give it all to him,he 's the one who know our needs and our desires.

Humble to bring down to the ground make yourself even with the ground. That first step is hard but OH the rewards. He who exalts himself shall be abased and he that humbles himself shall be exalted. God is always totally opposite from what the world does things. So to be like Jesus is to do exactly opposite from what the people of the world does.

I am so glad GOD saved me.

Humble means not proud, arrogant, haughty, assertive etc. Jesus Christ was our perfect example, he humbled himself and God himself exalted him and give him a name that is above all other names Phil 2 9 11 . For us to receive something good from God, we need to humble our self.

Am sitting hear at work and my co worker and I are dealing with a supervisor who very difficut to say the lest well I was saying a prayer asking God to send me a word of encouragement for my co worker and myself.God spoke "lPeter chapter 5.This overwhelming peace came over me when I read 6 humble youself under mighty hand of God and therfore he will exalt you in due time 7 cast all your cares upon him for he cares for you. Father God I thank you for covering me in the blood and protecting me and my co worker that we must be sober,be vilgalent because your adversary the devil, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. I will share the word with my co workers that they may be encouraged by his word.AMEN
