We must not forget to give God the praise and rejoice in His Name when he blesses us - as Hannah does in this chapter.

Indeed our God is a keeper of his promises.

It gives me hope that all is not yet lost

I learn onething from this chapter, that God will never punish us without warning us of our sins first.He warned Eli 's family before He punished them.

indeed God is a Stone that does not change, we must cling onto Him to be saved

God loves us all the time and He is faithful to his promises. God loves Jesus and he put everything into Jesus hands and lay down his life to us to be save. If we believed on Jesus that he is Jehovah Jireh the provider and if we put Jesus first into our hearts all things that we need will be added. Jesus loves us and he will never stop loving us. Jesus anointed us with oil as his children, therefore no one can touch his anointed one neither the defeated enemy. When we live with Christ in our lives we will be always victorious. The four beasts are continually before the throne of God saying Holy : Holy : Holy : Lord God Almighty : which was, and is ,and is to come. Rev 4:8 God my rock is the most solid foundation there ever will be. Cannot be shaken or destroyed.

What does it mean to be anointed by god?

Hannah received victory with answered prayer to Jehovah God, and learned the key to victory over the grave. For Jehovah God kills, and then makes alive. He gave her victory over a womb that was dead, and then He made it alive. Prayer will see us through death, and to eternal life that comes by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We should say as Paul said, for me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Death has lost its victory over us, because Jesus defeated death at the cross, when He rose again the third day. The sting of death is sin, but thanks be unto to God who gives us the victory through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

if u ask with a humbled heart, it shall b well with you. lf you plead before God for what your heart desires, God shall surely provide, always keep the promises you make to the Lord our God. AMEN

The prayer of Hanna humbles me so much. She came to the House of the Lord in total humility and in praise and in his praises she mentioned the number seven. God gave her three sons and three daughter and with Samuel which she gave unto the Lord the number reached seven. When we come unto the House of the Lord with thanksgiving , our pledges and offerings, with total humility, our God will hear us.

It is not by our own ability

This Ch. shows Hannah 's joy at the receiving of the answer to her prayers she experienced the GOODNESS of GOD in her life. The lesson that I 've learned from this Book, is that GOD answers sincere prayers, prayed in faith.

the lord keeps his holy ones and we can not do any thing with our physical power and worldly achievement but by the grace of God

This chapter shows us the importance of keeping our vows to God. It also teaches us the power of praise as Hannah did. It shows us delay is not denial. Hannah's blessing was delayed but when God blessed her it turned her mourning into dancing.

THE POWER AND MIGHT OF THE WICKED WITH WHICH THEY BOAST ARE DESTROYED AND GOD HAS STRENGHTENED THE UPRIGHT AND ARMED THEM WITH UNFAILING SONGS OF PRAISE AND VICTORY. 1 Samuel 2:4

There are a lot of lesson to learn in this book of ISam. 2 faith in God is the key thing we need to receive anything from God, There is need for us to fear the Lord with that we can reverence Him and do His will, Giving is another important lesson in this chapter Hannah never hold back what she was given by the Lord and for that she received more from the Lord. Another lesson is, as a parent never relent in your duty to bring up your children in the way of the Lord becuase it will speak for the now and the future.

Verse 12 calls the sons of Eli "the sons of Belial". In Hebrew the word "Belial" means "without a yoke" or basically "without something above you" without someone of authority. This expression is used to describe something that is bad or worthless. "Sons of Belial" can also be translated as "sons of lawlessness". The second half of verse 12 pretty much sums it up, "they knew not the Lord."
