Greetings, please help i need to grow my faith exceedingly

I can t rememeber the book and verse right now but it reads Jesus said I and my Father are one if you have seen me you have seen the Father also Jesus was God in the flesh Amen

Awesome, Infinite, unfarthomable God. This verse creates a sense of HIS presence when recited with gratitude to the CREATOR of all things.

Verse 1 says God is our Saviour. Who is our Saviour if not the Lord Jesus Christ?
Yet even the Jews understood that Christ claimed to be God, for they wanted to stone Him for this claim as St John records. If even those who rejected their Messiah and King knew this, how can we who have received so abundant a revelation in the Christian era not see?

Another verse Trinitains cant explain. According to this verse the other 2 gods are not equal. And they willtry to change the meaning of "only". Yes, this is true. At John 1:18 they try to expain the word "any" as something differant than what is written.

Man. Why try to correct TheWord of God it will never happen. Just trust him n take him at his written word. By the way ,man can never write a Book that great n life changing . Amen face it ,Sin is our problem . Not God.

There were men who turned from the truth found in God's word and they were turning to empty things. There are so many various teachings and ideas that a person can get involved in and if they put these things above what is found in the Bible they are really pursuing these in vain.

I thank Almighty God that he hath made me eligible to follow the Ministry of Jesus Christ
and to teach the Gospel to this generation.

(Verse 2) "May God our Father and Christ Jesus our Lord ..." Here Paul is making the statement that we have always made, that Jesus is one member of the Godhead (God), and the Father and the Holy Spirit are the others two. That is, God is 3 persons, all personalities of the same God.
This means that Jesus in not a lesser God, as many are now saying.

This concept was first put forth by Dr. Arius of Egypt in the early 300's AD, and later condemned by conservative Christians in 325. It's dominant thought is, God the Father is separate from the lesser Jesus. The Father, thus, is seen as the only true God.

Arianism resurfaced in the 16th century after the Protestant revolt. It made its way to England, with Sr. Isaac Newton was one of its major proponents. Groups like the Jehovah's Witnesses are totally Ariam. They not only believe that Jesus did not always exist as a person, but believe also that the Holy Spirit is not a person too.

But the sad fact is that conservative groups like the Baptist and mainstream Penecostals have similiar beliefs. They say that Jesus is only the Son of God. This makes him inferior to God.
They say it like this, "Jesus is not God, He is God's Son."

This is the essence of what they believe about Jesus: He only reveals what God is like, but he is not God himself. I have talked to many Baptist, and they all express this point of view.

Other see Jesus as an emanation, something that came out of God like a ghost image. Others say that God spoke Jesus into existence, meaning that he did not exist before.

The problem seem to be in their belief about the Father being the God of the Old Testament. Where Jesus was at this time they do not seem to know. Some say he was in the "bosom" of the Father. What this means to them is vague at best. Others take this to mean that he is only God's Word manifested as a man.

The point is, all of this makes Jesus something less than "God our Savior." ( 1 Timothy 2:3)

My comment comes from versuses 5-10 of this chapter: Now from what was said in versuses 5-10 we can clearly see that the Law is not our savior; but our mirror, So we can not go around thinking that we our saved because we obey the whole law; NO; For Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:(9)Not of works, lest any man should boast. .........So if we where saved by our obedience to the Law, then we could judge all those who don't; Which is what alot of us do, because alot of us still believe subconsciously, that we our saved because of our obedience to the Law.... But don't get it twisted; For Romans 6:23 says,(23)"For the wages of sin is death"... So the Law exposses sin, and is the reason why you might be missing out on things in life; But not the reason that God has excepted, or not excepted you as one of his own. CHILDREN; IT'S ALL ABOUT LOVE, AND EVERYTHING ESLE WILL FOLLOW. So please strive for LOVE!

Why quarrel? Why did our lord never say He is GOD? What did he say or do? Healed the sick, raised the dead, gave sight to the blind, mobility to the lame, forgiveness (here it is said who is this man that he forgives sin, only GOD can forgive {not verbatim}) to the lepers, fulfilled the scriptures. Halas the Pharisees and 'Sadducees' were too ignorant and vain to recognize HIM even though they say they know scripture. It is written I and my Father are one, not just words to that effect. My Father has many houses; I go now to prepare a place for you.... What did Christ actually say then why didn't Christ tell them? Does HE explain it? It is all there written. Where the Father is I am also. Is it not stated, Believe on MY works?

mr. man you are so very wrong ! read The Word again all the way through and youll find that it says many times that God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one and have been from eternity to eternity everlasting ! just because you choose to ignore what the bible says doesnt make what you believe true !

Paul’s first letter to Timothy is very important to Christianity. Paul wrote instructions on church matters to his blessed student Timothy. Paul describes how only pure men can be pastoral representatives of God. Paul addresses important social issues that exist today. Paul decrees in the last parts of chapter 2 that females cannot “lord” faith over males. Females should not take offense to Paul’s truth, which comes from the Holy Spirit. Many Christian denominations ordain female priests, but Paul explains how females should hold to quiet-loving lives ( 1 Timothy 2:13). The writing also speaks of homosexuals ( 1 Timothy 1:10-11). Homosexuality is a tool that brings accusation to the Christian church. Innocent-orphan children are adopted into homosexual homes. Children connected to homosexual life styles suffer exposure to severe pornographic acts and harassment because of the lifestyle their adoptive/birth parents live. While homosexuals always play the civil rights card, all competent people know right from wrong. As people who love Christ, let us peacefully help one another from sinning. Challenges exist but never give up kindness, faith, and love. Paul’s first letter to Timothy is an outstanding biblical writing. Written with love, Paul shows his gift of God’s divine Holy Spirit though his skill of calligraphy.

WHO EVER SAID JESUS IS NOT GOD MIGHT NEED TO READ JOHN CHAPTER 1, IT WILL EXPLAIN THAT IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD AND THE WORD WAS GOD AND FURTHER DOWN IN THE PASSAGE IT STATES THE WORD BECAME FLESH, AND EXPLAIN IF YOU WILL TELL HOW JESUS IS NOT GOD.

I believe in the father son and the Holy Ghost and what ever the word say it true jesus is God and God is a spirit he can do what ever he wants to we are in the flesh so therefore we are not perfect but we serve a perfect God.

Jesus is not GOD he is his son if you have a son he is not you so why can\'t God have a son too. Jesus never said he was GOD, those three words I AM GOD, Jesus never said.

GOD is always the same for ever and one need to remain faith to His/her fellowship with God.

Paul is seeking to encourage his spiritual son in the ministry Timothy about some of the trials that he will encounter in the ministry. Jesus is the fulfillment of the law, and is our only hope for salvation. Paul describes himself as the chief of sinners, and that he obtained mercy because he persecuted the church before in unbelief. Paul wants Timothy to know that because the Lord saved him there would be no one beyond the reach of the grace of God. We are the workmanship of Christ Jesus, and are created to do good works. Yet we are saved by grace through faith, and is a gift not of good works less any man should boast. So since all have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God we can only be saved by our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

"He was a brother, then died ( spitually )because of his sin, then came back, was restored and now is alive again...Here's the big ?, what if he had've died before he saw his error..Well now, to HELL he would go, because he was dead....

A few thoughts that may help to reconcile being "saved by grace through faith" and having to first do the will of God ( Matt. 7:21). There are different kinds of works. In Jn. 6:29, Jesus said, "This is the work of God that you believe on him whom he has sent". Romans 10:5-6, portray the law of merrit works and then the word of faith. It seems that all the free benefits through Jesus require an active receiving. Even Jn. 3:16 stipulates "that whoever believes in Him". Eph. 6:11 tells us to "PUT ON the whole armor". Only we can apply to our lives the benefits that only Jesus could make available to us. Also, you will find legalistic teaching before the cross since Jesus was talking to people still under the law of Moses. Heb. 9:15-17 says the new testament only started after Jesus died for us. The law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death (Rom.8:2).

I Tim. 1:8 & 9 is literally speaking. Faith to the Lord Jesus Christ is not suited to use these two verses. It is clearly stated that the law is not made for a righteous man. So, the law was made for the lawless, for ungodly and for sinners. Then, if you are saved through our faith in Jesus Christ reconcile Matthew 7:21 - that said "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven". This verse mean you have to work.

Verse 19 and 20
the bible teaches us to always have and hold on to our faith and good concious in life the are times that we are seriously chalenged as children of God so we need not to loose our faith but to hold on to it always and our concious must remain clean.
