1Finally, brethren, pray for vs, that the word of the Lord may haue free course, and be glorified, euen as it is with you: 2And that we may bee deliuered from vnreasonable and wicked men: for all men haue not faith. 3But the Lord is faithfull, who shall stablish you, and keepe you from euill. 4And wee haue confidence in the Lord touching you, that yee both doe, and will doe the things which we command you.

2Th 3:2 That we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men. That the wicked may not have power to prevent us from spreading the gospel. He is not moved by a desire to escape such hardships or dangers as these may cause, but by a desire that his work may move right on. All [men] have not faith. In all ages the preaching of the gospel divides those who hear it into two classes, the believers and unbelievers.
