17But that it spread no farther among the people, let vs straitly threaten them, that they speake henceforth to no man in this Name. 18And they called them, and commanded them, not to speake at all, nor teach in the Name of Iesus. 19But Peter and Iohn answered, and said vnto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God, to hearken vnto you more then vnto God, iudge ye. 20For wee cannot but speake the things which we haue seene and heard. 21So when they had further threatned them, they let them goe, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.
