12Put on therefore (as the elect of God, holy and beloued) bowels of mercies, kindnesse, humblenesse of minde, meekenesse, long suffering, 13Forbearing one another, and forgiuing one another, if any man haue a quarrell against any: euen as Christ forgaue you, so also doe yee. 14And aboue all these things put on charitie, which is the bond of perfectnesse. 15And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also yee are called in one body: and be yee thankefull. 16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdome, teaching and admonishing one another in Psalmes, and Hymnes, and Spirituall songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Col 3:14 Above all these things [put on] charity. "Love" (Revised Version). If our souls are imbued with love, like that of Christ, it will be easy then to forbear and forgive. Which is the bond of perfectness. All the Christian graces are bound together in love. It is the source of them all.
