12As an arrowe that sticketh in a mans thigh, so is a word within a fooles belly. 13Admonish a friend, it may be he hath not done it, and if he haue [done it] that he doe it no more. 14Admonish thy friend, it may be he hath not said it, and if he haue, that he speake it not againe. 15Admonish a friend: for many times it is a slander, & beleeue not euery tale. 16There is one that slippeth in his speach, but not from his heart, and who is he that hath not offended with his tongue?
