20Saying, This is the blood of the Testament which God hath enioyned vnto you. 21Moreouer, hee sprinkled with blood both the Tabernacle, and all the vessels of the Ministery. 22And almost all things are by the Law purged with blood: and without shedding of blood is no remission. 23It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heauens should bee purified with these, but the heauenly things themselues with better sacrifices then these. 24For Christ is not entred into the Holy places made with handes, which are the figures of the true, but into heauen it selfe, now to appeare in the presence of God for vs.

9:22 And almost all things - For some were purified by water or fire. Are according to the law purified with blood - Offered or sprinkled. And according to the law, there is no forgiveness of sins without shedding of blood - All this pointed to the blood of Christ effectually cleansing from all sin, and intimated, there can be no purification from it by any other means.

Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood. See Le 16:16,19,33. Under the law almost every thing was purified by blood, lest it had been defiled. Without shedding of blood is no remission. Every sin under the law required atonement, and no atonement could be made without blood.
