39¶ And one of þe malefactors, which were hanged, railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, saue thy selfe and vs. 40But the other answering, rebuked him, saying, Doest not thou feare God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? 41And we indeed iustly; for we receiue the due reward of our deeds, but this man hath done nothing amisse. 42And he said vnto Iesus, Lord, remember me when thou commest into thy kingdome. 43And Iesus said vnto him, Uerily, I say vnto thee, to day shalt thou be with me in Paradise.
