10So those seruants went out into the high wayes, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good, and the wedding was furnished with ghests. 11¶ And when the King came in to see the guests, hee sawe there a man, which had not on a wedding garment, 12And hee sayth vnto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither, not hauing a wedding garment? And hee was speechlesse. 13Then said the king to the seruants, Binde him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkenesse, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 14For many are called, but few are chosen.

22:12 A wedding garment - The righteousness of Christ, first imputed, then implanted. It may easily be observed, this has no relation to the Lord's Supper, but to God's proceeding at the last day.

Mt 22:12 How camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? The fact that he had not was proof that he had no right to be there. All invited might be very different before, good and bad, but they must be clothed alike when the guests of the Lord.
