1And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying, 2Auenge the children of Israel of the Midianites: afterward shalt thou be gathered vnto thy people. 3And Moses spake vnto the people, saying, Arme some of your selues vnto the warre, and let them goe against the Midianites, and auenge the Lord of Midian. 4Of euery tribe a thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the warre.
