7The works of his hands are veritie and iudgment: all his commandements are sure. 8They stand fast for euer and euer: and are done in trueth and vprightnes. 9He sent redemption vnto his people, hee hath commanded his couenant for euer: holy and reuerend is his Name. 10The feare of the Lord is the beginning of wisedome, a good vnderstanding haue all they that doe his commandements: his praise endureth for euer.

111:9 Redemption - The deliverance out of Egypt, which was a type of that higher redemption by Christ. Commanded - Appointed, or established firmly by his power and authority. For ever - Through all successive generations of his people to the end of the world. Reverend - Terrible to his enemies, venerable in his peoples eyes, and holy in all his dealings with all men.
