1When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Iacob from a people of strange language: 2Iudah was his sanctuarie: and Israel his dominion. 3The sea sawe it, and fled: Iordan was driuen backe. 4The mountaines skipped like rammes: and the little hilles like lambes. 5What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Iordan, that thou wast driuen backe?
