3Thou louest euill more then good; and lying rather then to speake righteousnesse. Selah. 4Thou louest all deuouring words, O thou deceitfull tongue. 5God shall likewise destroy thee for euer, hee shall take thee away and plucke thee out of thy dwelling place, and roote thee out of the land of the liuing. Selah. 6The righteous also shall see, and feare, and shall laugh at him. 7Loe, this is the man that made not God his strength: but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himselfe in his wickednesse.

52:5 Pluck thee - Violently and suddenly as the Hebrew word signifies, from thy house and lands, and all the wages of thy righteousness. Root - Though thou seemest to have taken deep root, yet God shall pluck thee up by the very roots, and destroy thee both root and branch.
