May our current leadership take note of the blessings of the LORD upon those who obey. God bless us as we go through this current situation of the Covid, economy, social unrest, lack of good political direction. Thank you LORD for this portion of your Word, that reminds of your great hand of provision unto those who love you and serve you with a clean heart.
Verse 21 OF 2 Chronicles 31 tells us that Hezekiah prospered because he did all he had to do with all his heart. We are told that all he did included his service in the house of God, the law and commandments. I would like to believe that for Hezekiah it was either all or nothing to every feat he ventured. Another note worthy point here is "and in every good work"! It tells us that Hezekiah wasn't wasting his energy on bad stuff or irrelevant causes. He was investing his time, resources and energy in good causes.
This is a lesson we Christians of today need to emulate. This is certainly a standard that should be upheld and imitated.
