I know that Mr. Clark is right because it is in scripture you have to also understand that a lot of the Bible and God’s disciples were taught to talk and speak in parables, we were non-existent in those times from who and what we call ourselves today but included because we were in those times considered gentiles. You would have to read the whole Bible NOT IN PART to make such strong comments of unbelief, point blank period have pure hearts of love as Jesus did, posses forgiveness as he did and turn away from worldly sin because it holds no place in the heavens you will not enter the kingdom. No one can make a person love God, that's also in the scripture and he tells us not to....let every man have his own desire to love me and do my will!!! I would love to see every man in heaven but he says it's like getting through the eye of a needle. Due to some of the above ways of thinking we cannot justify the word no matter how we try. God did not segregate our religion we did he is only concerned about our salvation of a second chance to get it right. We've messed up once let’s do better this time smart ones! My prayer is that all that are blind see the light and let not Satan fool you any longer! Amen
I feel that God’s word is meant just as it is read. He said if His people, I'm an American Christian so I have to believe it refers to my land. If God meant it for a certain land or country, I believe he would have said it.
This is further evidence that God's people are wealthy. If King Solomon offered a sacrifice of 22,000 oxen, 120,000 sheep. Which in that day the amount of live stock measured your wherewithal. Poverty (in any form to a born again, Holy Spirit filled, mind renewed believer in Jesus) is sin..
I believe 2 Chron 7:14 was meant for the Jews of that time. All the people in America would have to humble themselves before God, for our land to be healed. Like Sodom & Gomorrah, too few believed to save her from her fate.
Oh my Lord Jesus. Please have mercy upon us and our country for our sin(s) and on your people that we would look into your Word in this chapter and see us, the church, like looking into a mirror and see ourselves and confess our sins so we can call upon your name.
My pray to you

Answer to CLARA
Dear Clara, I am very sorry to hear of the problems in your family. I had a terrible pain about a month ago I tought I was loosing my mind. I prayed from the deepest point of my soul and heart and mind. And the pain disappeared. So I think Reijo should do the same whether he is a Christian or not, and the Almighty God will do what He is going to do. Let this comment be my prayer for Reijo and your sister. GOD BLESS US ALL
My sister Dina is asking prayers for Reijo, her husband. He has a serious liver disease. And has not been doing well at all. THe medication is also very strong and causes serious side effects. Dina is very busy with him, and she asked me to ask you for prayers.
We are very sad for him, and praying that he will recover. Sorry that I'm not writing more, my mind seems exhausted right now.
Thank you so much
with love

Chronicles Chapter 7 verse 4 is definitely an instruction for both spiritual and temporal success. Anyone finding themselves going astray or living a life contrary to the Word of Jesus, should seek to repent, turn from evil, pray and The Almighty will surely fulfill His Word, by healing your mind and body; you will then become prosperous and blessed.
if you look through your spirtual eyes you will see your own land which is the things that you are facing or going thru in your life and what's it doing to you. Some people is so narrow minded, look beyond your physical eyes and see what the Lord is saying.
Our land was healed when Christ had died on the cross. When Jesus died he said that is finished. Now we are under Grace. Because he fulfilled the law of the old testiment.
Jesus did not do away with the old law but came to fulfill it.
After you accept Jesus as your Savior you are a joint heir with Jesus.
Because we are under Grace we can pray for our country by Faith (that Jesus imparted to us " Gal 3:22--The Faith of Jesus is given to them that believe")believing our prayer is already answered when we pray,--" Mark 11:24"--
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, WHEN ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them].
I feel that this prayer was not only directed to the Israelites of that day, but to every person, every nation that has failed God and needs to be awakened to the fact that we do have a God who is aware of our sins, and that we all are in need of a closer relationship with Him
My people there means Those who are called Christian. The scripture referring to the believers who backslide to come back to God with humility, and He will heal their land, that is their doweling which includes everything they have. God is the one saying to Solomon.
America was founded on Christian principles and was done so to provide Christians freedom of worship without oppression. I along with most Christians, believe The United States of America is OUR LAND and it is necessary to take measures to protect it.
I love where it says in 2Chronicles 7:2 "And the priest could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the Lord had filled LORD's house." I love reading this because it shows that when everyone is in one accord praising and worshipping God that God's presence is strong and mighty. With all the churches and different sects why is this not happening today? The glory was so filled in that room that the priest could not enter. That is power and unfortunatley it is not seen today and if it is then people are not reporting it. It's almost as if God needs to tear the church down again and then rebuild it in hopes of getting true worshippers in one accord.
Mr. Clark's comments are accurate in relation to this verse. Look around today and see the peril our society and world at large are in. It's evident that the Lord is trying to get our (believers) attention. In western cultures especially, we've become complacent in our daily living. The urgency we note usually deals with our comfort zones being intruded upon. Oil spills, economic troubles, rampant crime and all the Israel-related events are red flags to get our act in gear and be about our Fathers' business of getting the gospel out to those in the whitened fields of harvest ready souls. God help us to awaken and work before it's too late.
Good question Anonymous, but please note that the sacrifices were for the Jews. And yes they are bad worshipers if they are not still fulfilling the law as God gave it to them. With one exception, Jesus, you see Jesus came to fulfill the Law for everyone that will believe.
Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
So to all the children of God who have professed faith in Christ the law is completed, by faith.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Now how about you are you worshiping the Creator in faith believing that Christ died for your sins or will you try keeping the Law.
Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Hebrews 10 = Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once [for all].
11And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
14For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15[Whereof] the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18Now where remission of these [is, there is] no more offering for sin.
Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your REASONABLE SERVICE.
Anonymous, The only "good for legal tender" payment for sin is the blood of Jesus the Christ, shed on the cross of Calavary.
umm excuse me but how come in the bible there is talk about all of these sacrifices to God but nowadays nobody sacrifices to God? Does that mean that you are all still good sons and daughters of God or just bad worshippers?
Often quoted out of context and misdirected. Read the context. Read the wording of the passage itself. "If *my people* who are *called by my name*... This was a message spoken to Solomon referring to the people of Israel, following judgement for disobedience. This was not about their neighbors or anyone else. This was about God's people. In the OT, that referred to Israel. In the NT that classification was narrowed to those who believed and followed Jesus (Christians) and extended to include gentiles who also believed.
Modern application of this passage is to Christians (not to leave out Israel.) This is not calling for national revival, state revival, county, city, neighborhood... although all these would be nice. This is calling for revival *within the Church.* First look in the mirror. Then look around you when you are in church. That is who this is talking to. With that in mind, read it again.
