In response to Naomi Thompson/Chris with regards to missing books of the Bible. I agree with Chris' response to the possible missing books that are referred to. I would also like to add John 20:30, 31. There were many other things that were written, but what God gave us is sufficient for anyone to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you might have life through His Name. May the Lord bless our hearts in Christ name.

I'm not sure that one could say that these books (as you have quoted) are missing from the Bible. They could either not been available at the time to be included, maybe missing, or they may have been available but not deemed worthy to be incorporated with the rest of Scripture. I don't believe one can assume that those books were forgotten about or escaped the attention of those who canonized the Bible. Is this what you mean?
Yes there are missing books in the Bible. 1 Chronicles 29:29
Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer,

Christ Magnified Glorifying Jesus on 2 Chronicles 9 - 6 years ago
Day 107 of Bible in a Year Reading. Solomon had everything; money, power, wisdom and early on he had faith that seemed lasting. It is sad to note that everything that is depicted here in this chapter and two previous chapters was forfeited by Solomon and his family for what Solomon later called vanity. From the smoke of God's glory filling everything to everything going up in smoke. Tears.
"Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold;" 666 has a real meaning and is NOT something we should be superstitiously afraid of. Basic research into the archaic meanings of the words in Hebrew and Greek show us that the sixes represent over what's normal, tens and hundreds imply the multiplicative; thus an overflow w/o restraint!
Eric; King Solomon in all his wisdom and glory was made to be a type of the glorified Christ reigning over all Israel and the world. It was very terrible betrayal for him to let himself be consumed with going after strange women so that he forsook the LORD when he was old! This is a fearful warning to all of us! NO gifts from God nor yesterday's victories put us above needing to watch and pray!
It is amazing to me that one of such wisdom could be so foolish. I do not want to speculate on why he did what he did, but it seems evident to me that he was not wise enough to read God's word daily. For if he had, he would have read that God had said NOT to bring in an over abundance of gold, and NOT to buy horses from Egypt. And, isn't it interesting that the amount of gold brought in was 666?
2 Chronicles 9:6 speaks of the marvelous wisdom of King Solomon, and this passage is marvelous, as seen in the words of the Queen of the South. But Jesus says, Here is the greater than Solomon! Jesus is greater than King Solomon, so the Christians are blessed!
