King James Version (KJV)

9:6 He that soweth sparingly shall reap sparingly; he that soweth bountifully shall reap bountifully - A general rule. God will proportion the reward to the work, and the temper whence it proceeds.
2Co 9:4 Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me. Luke named certain brethren of Macedonia who did attend him (Ac 20:4). And find you unprepared, we . . . should be ashamed. If these should find Corinth unprepared with the collection when Paul came, after what he had said, it would fill him with shame.
Lest happily if they of Macedonia come with mee, & find you vnprepared, wee (that wee say not, you) should bee ashamed in this same confident boasting.
