The word of GOD is sharper than any two edged sword,GOD can do without us but He chooses to do with us. I 've been going through a lot and have gone through a lot but I believe GOD is putting me to test so I can minister to someone.

I am speaking specifically about 2 Corinthians 1 20. I really love this scripture because it speaks to the perfectness of the Love God has for all His children. I know that I have prayed for things that maybe I should not have and God gave it to me so that i could learn how to pray more perfectly. The saying "be careful what you ask for " took on a whole new meaning when you recieve those things you think you want because you are not praying the will of God in your life. In that case God was saying "YEA. " Now that i am older and hopefully more wise, i try to pray the will of God according to the scripture for my life so that His Promises will be "Amen ", signifying that He agrees with me because I agree with His word. Perfect Will vs. Permissible Will. Let us strive for His Perfect Will in our lives.

He did not come to be served but to serve the will of the father. Any church that teaches a man can not be saved by works, Does not understand that "The works of faith" under which (according to the Lord) you be credited and judged are not the same definition, just the same word. Have Mercy! Give not to get. and research the boy who at 5 had a heart transplant and woke to tell his mother everything was copasetic. If god by spirit moves you, trust me when he says I will show you greater things than these - he Is worthy!

If you are not experiencing true spiritual suffering described in ephesians chapter 6 then you havnt known Christ. Romans 8 says that we must suffer with HIm in order to be glorified with Him. 2 corinthians gives us an example of what it looks like. note that this is a spiritual battle. not suffering like someones death or a car wreck. this type of suffering is a 24/7 type of thing. but in that we find comfort. the old testament is filled with p***ages about what suffering looks like. Iasiah 38, psalm 44, psalm 88, psalm 102. these are the sufferings that 2 Corintihians is talking about.

2 Corinthians 3:7; I am thinking right now about a handful of disciples out on a boat, the Sea of Galilee sparkling like diamonds and it wasn’t long when the wind began to blow and rock that boat. I can see these disciples in the midst of this storm and contrary winds. As they do everything humanly possible to stay afloat. Some of you have tried to do your best, you have done everything that you can do. You have tried to lighten the load, and you still are in the storm. Let me tell you where the answer is. Wake Jesus up in your life and He will make the difference. Master carest thou not that we perish. Here we are in Big trouble. Jesus stood up, lifted up His hands and said just three words PEACE BE STILL. STORMS IN OUR LIVES TODAY; There are some storms in your life today. There are two points of excitement in a storm: The moment it arrives, and The moment it leaves. The moment it strikes you, you get excited. The moment it leaves you, you get excited. Because it’s gone and no longer a threat to you. The song says The song says-when the long night has ended and the storms come no more, let me stand in thy presence on that bright peaceful shore. In the land where the tempest never comes, Lord keep me safe until the storm passes by.

  • Faustino Rocha on 2 Corinthians 1 - 12 years ago
Paul was a person who was serious when it came to the things of God. He was serious by nature, and appreciated exactly what God had done for us in redeeming us and what Jesus had given to us. His life was always in jeopardy, so he brings to the table the seriousness of life and death in for both decisions and deeds made by an individual. He rejoices at the souls that are saved that he writes and lets them know, that in everything, there are provisions to go on and to accomplish whatever God has for someone. There is nothing but resoluteness when it comes to Paul. His joy was always about those that are saved and that they would grow in Grace.

He is more than a comforter, a rock in a weary land, a shelter in a time of storm. Right now I am going through warfare, but it is good to know that with the same comfort that he has comforted me I can lay aside my problems and comfort others. God bless. Amen.
