Acts 9:15 15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: Paul didn't have to brag about what he did for the Lord Jesus, Jesus said that Paul was a chosen vessel into him. That alone is special from Jesus himself. Jesus, thank you for using Apostle Paul for the Gentiles. Love

Wow Apostle Paul labored more then anybody in the Lord. 2 Corinthians 11:23 Are they ministers of Christ? I speak as a fool I am more in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. Jesus suffer the cross, Paul suffer beheaded. Wow, that is unbelievable how they suffered. There is a friend that sticked closer then a brother, that's Jesus.

If any man that has superpowers by that I mean can bring lightning down from the skies at will and speaks like no one you have ever heard before and speaks in peace as in world peace and calls himself God and sits in Jerusalem. Not even if he says he will fly you away. Don't Go! When the 7th trump sounds and hail stones hit with the fire you will be alright because you waited for the true Christ.

Acts 9:23-25; 2 Cor. 11:32-33; How can anyone read these 2 scriptures and think they are of 2 different incidents .....? 2 Cor. is a RECOUNTING of Acts 9. Just as vs. 24 -27 are a recounting of PAST sufferings.

  • Bob K. on 2 Corinthians 11:3 - 9 years ago
As a "chaste virgin to Christ " Paul feared that the Corinthians would revert back to their former ways before they came into the knowledge of the truth. Prior to that time, they have been deceived just as Eve was!

2 Cor. 11:32 33, compare this to Acts 9:23-25. How many times is Paul let down the walls of Damascus in a basket? 2 Cor is a first hand account, Paul is being chased by, In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me. In Acts, it is the Jews who are after him. Is this anti-Semitic!

Jesus said that men will not come to the knowledge of the truth whom Jesus is the embodiment of because they are compelled by the traditions and philosophy of men the falsehood of the trinity, created by a philosopher and perpetuated by religious traditional teaching is exposed by these verses. Jesus is not GOD

The apostle Paul is right for people who claim to be so wise put up with such foolishness of this world. They resist the righteous and embrace the Wicked.
  • Charles on 2 Corinthians 11:14 - 10 years ago
He will NOT come back as an alien. He will look just like you or me.He will present himself as a man of peace...for he is the most subtle of all God 's creatures Gen 3 verse 1.And Jesus said of him, "He is a liar and the father of lies, and a murderer from the start....so to put it bluntly, think of a well spoken Hannibal Lecter combined with a perfect Conman 's front. KNOW YOUR BIBLE. That 's key. Stay away from hristian authors,TV preachers, etc.Just Bible and Pray, every day.

To everyone that 's a Christian shall receive 40 lashes minus one in there walk with Our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. I come from a family of 9 and all are Catholic minus one. On the day of my baptism as a Christian my mother cried in anger. My friends made fun and my marriage fell apart for the love of Jesus I wish to walk in had a lashing. I will continue to walk in faith and for the forty lashes minus one, I would do it all over again for the love of Jesus.

    Here in verses 14-15, Paul says under the inspiration of God that there are ministers of satan in the churches who act like God's preachers but are really satans instead and deceive and seek to lead God's people away from God and teach heresies or false teachings to cause people to go from God and not serve him alone. And they are deceitful and are also mentioned in 2 Timothy 2 also. Sincerely ;

Some say he will come back as an alien
    Is this true ?
  • Laurie on 2 Corinthians 11:3 - 11 years ago
I don't understand the simplicity in the bible. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. BUT a single minded man only sees from one side and misses the other side. We were instructed to love The Lord with all our hearts and souls so we wouldn't follow after other Gods. Jesus comes along and we are now partakers of his death. So now comes our spirit and the spirit world. It's appointed unto man to die ONCE and the second death-your physical death you are now in judgement.
  • R. D. Mattock on 2 Corinthians 11 - 11 years ago
He Transforms Himself into an Angel of Light; His deception also comes about because of his ability to be transformed into an angel of light. This is one of the major ways in which Christians shall be deceived in the last days. The Bible says there is a strong delusion that is coming with false signs and wonders being done by Satan's own ministers. 2 Corinthians 11:14-15, And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
He Purposes to Stumble Us and Lay Snares In our Paths. Psalms 140:4-5 Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; Preserve me from violent men, who have purposed to make my steps stumble. The proud have hidden a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set traps for me. Selah He waits for those vulnerable times in our lives when we are most susceptible to temptation and then springs the trap. This was exactly how he worked in the life of Jesus. Luke 4:13 Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time. Our victory over this Satan in this area is to continually keep our eyes on Jesus, because when our eyes are on Jesus, He will steer us around the traps and help us to strengthen those areas of vulnerability. He will be our guard.

If Paul was the Roman citizen he claimed to be nobody would dare have laid a hand on him.
