Mishael ,i wholeheartedly agree with you ,i know that i belive some things that other people on here dont belive and i know that some people on here belive things that i dont ,ive thought long and hard about the different beliefs of different churches and i came to the same conclusion as you ,i musnt judge ,i ask myself : if i am in the wrong regarding a doctrine does that mean that God will totally reject me ? Does it mean that i will loose my salvation ? Does it mean that i dont have a relationship with God at all and im only fooling myself that i do ? If i am correct and everyone else is wrong does that mean that they are all not saved ? Does it mean that they dont have a relationship with God but they just think they do ,the answer to these questions is : God knows all of us ,intimately He knows who is His ,i dont and i dont have to ,oh some times i feel the need to say what i belive and dont belive but we all have the right to do that on here and we can and do help each other understand things ,ultimately we all come on here because we want to learn from and help each other learn and enjoy each others company ,thats got to be a good thing ,may God bless us all and bring us all even closer to Him in His Love and Truth and Righteousness .
I prayed much about the Catholic Church. It always hurt me to hear Christians say: all Catholics are going to hell.
I sought Jesus! He said to me direct and clear.
*DO NOT JUDGE. I say Yes Sir!
He said their Church has fulfilled a Prophesy. "ALL generations will call Jesus's mother, Mary,
BLESSED.
I sit and ponder that a long long time. It's true. The only time of the year that Mary gets any recognition (by Baptists, Methodists, Pentecostals, and 7 pages of phone book ads)
happens at Christmas time. Brave Churches dare to put up manger scenes and have Bethlehem Programs the little kids can participate in. Some people put manger scenes on their lawn!
I hate what Christmas has become. Lights Competitions, nothing but lights everywhere. It's gaudy and I just turn the channel on tv. YouTube Premium actually has hundreds of Christian movies.
I would like to see a little teen-aged, engaged woman who was prophesied to be the mother of Jesus (her bloodline was chosen; as was Joseph's)
get some credit for her faith and trust in God. It almost feels like Jesus was the only one who wanted his human mother get some credit. That's my take on it. I know lots of people will disagree and dispute. I almost fell down when the Holy Spirit said, Don't Judge. It felt like a sonic boom.
Earl, I'm not a Catholic. I share your burden for their souls. When I was doing street ministry in Tulsa, I ran into 2 teenaged Catholic young men who had just been told by a Christian that they were not Saved! They were visually upset. I made a quick prayer before I opened my mouth.
'GOSPEL' came into my spirit.
I asked them if they believe that Jesus was born to a virgin named Mary? Yes
Did they believe that Jesus lived a perfect sinless life as a human? Yes
Do you believe that Jesus was arrested for claiming that he was the Son of Man and that His Father, God and He were one and the same? Yes
He was crucified on the Cross for the sins of all mankind? Yes
On the 3rd Day Jesus was resurrected and walked out of his tomb? Yes
I asked them if they had asked Jesus to come live in their hearts forever and be their Savior? Yes
I said let's pray. I prayed they would forgive the other Christian who confronted them and upset them. I asked the Holy Spirit to come be their Teacher and Comforter.
Their countenance was totally different after that. A precious peace just fell on all of us. I didn't load them up with a lot of do's and dont's. I trust the Holy Spirit to be their Convictor, as He is mine.
You can pray as Ezekiel did over the dry bones.. concerning Catholics and their need for so many rituals. It's a powerful prayer and allows you faith to see the bones rattle, and then stand up.
Something we should all be praying for people in Israel too. (They are the bones)
We can see the dead dryness in people we know, or know of. Dead spiritually. If we pray to the Lord as the saints of Christ and Jesus sits at the right hand of God; making intercession for ALL SAINTS....my Bible says: call those things that be NOT, as though they ARE. Keep that in mind when you pray for those "heart-hardened cases", that we all know. "Thus saith the Lord: you will proclaim Jesus as your Lord!"
In my search and in the text above...when referring to satan as god the g is always shown lower case god, never upper case God. In the search that led me here and the text above you have mistakenly used the upper case when lower case would be appropriate...even though I don't see the use of god appropriate for the serpent. Just saying.
Maybe a doctor told you, you have an incurable disease and you focus on it. The Bible tells us not to look at the things that are seen bse they are temporal. .in God's sight, all things are possible, he care cure all manner of disease...and lets focus on the things that are not seen bse they are eternal...his word is living, active and sharper than any two double edged sword..it works wonders...
The Man that walked the hill of Calvary and died to pay your sin debt FULL has a message for you.
99.99% truth mixed with .001% lie is not the TRUTH that will MAKE you Free. According to the Hebrew Scriptures not the English Bible. Many are called few are chosen to understand what you are about to read. Here is how subtle and crafty your adversary really is. Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtle and crafty than any beast of the field which Father YAHweh had made. And he said to the woman; Has YAHweh indeed said: You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
God is only a misleading TITLE not a name! Proverbs 30:4 Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound up the waters in His garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name? And what is the Name of His Son? Tell me, if you know!
"How can we know that Satan is the God of this world ( 2 Corinthians 4:4)?" Answer: The phrase "God of this world" (or "god of this age") indicates that Satan is the major influence on the ideals, opinions, goals, hopes and views of the majority of people. His influence also encompasses the world's philosophies, education, and commerce. The thoughts, ideas, speculations and ALL the religions of the world are under his control and have sprung from his lies and deceptions.
Satan is also called the "prince of the power of the air" in Ephesians 2:2. He is the "ruler of this world" in YAHchanan (John) 12:31. These titles and many more signify Satan's capabilities. To say, for example, that Satan is the "prince of the power of the air" is to signify that in some way he rules over the world and the people in it. This is not to say that he rules the world completely; Father YAHweh is still sovereign. But it does mean that Father YAHweh, in His infinite wisdom, has allowed Satan to operate in this world within the boundaries Father YAHweh has set for him. When the Scriptures says Satan has power over the world, we
This scripture says that the adversary (Satan) is the God of earth at this time in this last dispensation. The book of Revelation is when Jesus Christ returns with his armies and casts out and destroys the adversaries demons and the adversary. By removing him Satan from the throne, and cast out to the lake of fire. At that time Jesus takes upon the throne of and on the Earth.
Sheila, I'm unsure whether you are referring to Hebrews 11:1:
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
This is one of the great descriptions of Faith in the Bible. To explain this: the words 'substance' & 'evidence' (in that verse) tell us about things we can physically see or can be proven without any doubt. So what you have around your home or with family members are all real & seeing them doesn't require any faith from you.
What happens when you've planned to go on a holiday? The holiday hasn't happened yet, but you are hoping that nothing will stop you going. Is this faith? No, it's still only a hope. You could say, "I have faith that it will happen", but if there can be a possibility of it not happening, then it's what we say, is a misdirected faith. Then this awful virus starts up & all your plans are cancelled so you've lost all hope of going on holiday.
That's what it's like on the Earth: we can hope for something but we really don't know for sure that it will happen for us. But, when the Bible speaks of Hebrews 11 Faith, we see that we can only use it when God gives His Promise for it to happen. So, if you believe that there is a God & a Heaven (both you can't see), then it means that your faith is based on God's Word & not on your sight. This is Real Faith as you believe according to His Word that His Word is sure. Some people also know about God but are uncertain about Him - no faith - no Heaven.
Noah built a large boat. He may not have seen a flood from rain but still built a strange vessel that seemed of little value & purpose. But he demonstrated faith, because he believed God & trusted God that this vessel would somehow save these few people & animals & a flood would somehow cover the Earth & wipe out all left behind. I hope this explanation helps you understand that Faith is believing (as in, seeing) that something is there or will happen from God's Word, even when there's no evidence for it.
Things not seen are the realm of the demonic. They have no physical bodies. They'll use any kind of person or live creature to hurt people.
If your Bible has center of the page references (to like scripture of what you're reading) then use those in your study. The alphabet letters point to the other scriptures.
Ephesians 6
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle NOT against flesh and blood, but against (Invisible) principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
"They hang around things that may be an idol". Get rid of anything that qualifies.
Hi again Warren, I believe a misanthrope can be saved, indeed Christ's salvation is available to all. We realize that when one repents of specific sins or even of a nature given to a propensity to do evil, then the Lord forgives, gives new birth by His Spirit, & power to overcome & live this new life. There will times of failing, as we all do because of still having to live in sinful flesh with the old Enemy knocking at our door, but the overwhelming desire of the believer is to be an overcomer & please the Lord in every area of our lives.
1 John 4:20 gives a telling message: "If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?" I realize that this isn't specifically directed to a misanthrope rather to a person who claims to be a believer & loving God, yet holds anger & hatred for another. However, the spirit behind that hatred is evident & which boils down to: 'one cannot claim to love God & hate another: the two emotions can't dwell together'. I realize that a misanthrope has a much deeper mental issue for him to feel that way (& maybe it has come about because of the circumstances that prevailed upon him), but God is in the business of dealing with hard cases & He can give a full healing that always accompanies His full salvation.
Hi Chris, this is revealing what kind of person I am but is necessary for an answere to my question, realizing that you might not be qualified as a human and not God, to know, but your opinion could be helpful to me. Can a misanthropic type person achieve salvation? Thanks, warren
Since a couple of us responded to you, I'm unsure to whom you are addressing your kind comments. As from me, it's always a joy to be of some (spiritual) use to a fellow believer especially in understanding God's Word. I find I spend more time on this Site now, since our movements outside the home are a little restricted - so no better way than to meditate on the Word & be helpful to others wherever possible. Often, I would like to write more, but time & space are limited.
I'm not involved in any external ministry these days, as in the West, one needs to be 'officially' recognized to preach or be in the eldership to do so. However, I have had some ministry in India & Pakistan, working specifically amongst Muslims in Pakistan & encouraging the Churches in both countries. Many of the village Church leaders are not well taught in the Word & sometimes their messages lack accuracy & vitality, so when a 'foreign' speaker comes along, then their fellowship receives a different dimension from the Word & also serves as further biblical instruction to the pastors. Sharing with Muslims is another story: requiring much dependence on the Spirit, knowledge of the Word & the Quran, & a clear demonstration of love that first emanates from the Cross. In India, my limited involvement with the young people from the Brethren Assemblies meant that I was able to instruct them in ministry to Muslims during their evangelistic outreach in other parts of India.
However, on 'open' sites as KJB Online, one has the blessing of sharing with other believers, but we are also compelled to consider their understanding of the Word & of life itself which can be quite different to ours. So, whatever is shared, as in the case with your enquiry, we trust that folk will follow up our comments with their own personal reading & seeking of the correct meaning from that Scripture portion. May the Lord bless you in your study of His Word & in direction of your life accordingly.
Thank you for the explaining this verse for me. Taking the time that you did, which is considerable, is a testament of someone devoted to spreading the gospel and doing Gods work. Where is your organization located?
Warren, I think if we look at Luke 12:49 in context to the chapter & also Matthew chapter 10 (as an addendum to Luke's account), we'll see that this is not a literal fire that Jesus speaks of, but a fire of divisions & contentions. In fact, in verse 51, He says, "Do you think I've come to bring peace on Earth? No, but to bring divisions". We might find this teaching troubling as we often think of the Gospel of Christ as that which brings peace to our once troubled & sinful souls & a new peace & relationship with the Godhead.
Yet, the other side of the faith in Christ's Gospel, is that of contentions & divisions. The Gospel is divisive: it separates the sheep from the goats, friends & family members are set apart because of its call for separation & holiness, it separates those who attend Church for conscience sake from those attending to worship the Lord Whom they love, it makes distinction between those who take up their cross daily from those who are careless in their fleshly walk, etc.
And Jesus says: "and what will I, if it be already kindled?", or "what can I say, that the spark of fire has already commenced?" The very fact of Jesus' Presence, amongst the people & his disciples, had already started the fires of anger & separation from one another. First, it commenced in the people's hearts as they heard teachings that were foreign to them & the Spirit-filled messages brought serious questioning & conviction within. Even arriving at the foot of the Cross, the division of those who followed the Lord from those who rejected Him became clearer & more distinct, resulting in more hatred from the Jews & Romans. Post Cross, we see the effects of that 'fire' as the apostles & those who obeyed the Lord suffered greatly, not because of anything they had done, but from those who had rejected Christ & godly living, were marked for destruction. You can keep these thoughts in mind as you read through the NT, looking for evidences of this fire that 'to follow Christ' brings.
2 Peter Chapter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 [Seeing] then [that] all these things shall be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought ye to be in [all] holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
2 Thessalonians Chapter 1:6 Seeing [it is] a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

1 Corinthians 3:9-15
According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
Every man's work shall be made manifest: for THE DAY shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a REWARD.
If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself SHALL BE SAVED, yet so as by fire.
COMMENT:
Question we ask ourselves honestly: what are we building with?
Are we building up the Body of Christ?

To this concerns; i want to share how i know and believe speaking into existence, well for Mothers day, my o me a beautiful rose bush, but it died after a few days, but for some reason i kept it outside on balcony, 1 day i decided to water and speak life into it, so i came home from work after the 3rd day, and 1 flower had blossomed onto the bush, i was so amazed by this, but i for some reason had the faith to believe this word i spoke to the plant would come to life, and it did. Glory be to God.
It means we have know the power the light and the knowledge of God , but we are inside earthly vessel [body] Cast down as we are from the sons of god and the daughters of men ... a crossbreed . We are made in the image of our creator , we were given their knowledge . . . we have allowed our identity to be stolen . . . . Memories of those we loved, but died outside of Christ (unsaved), will not be remembered because of the pain of loss.
Book of Revelation
Pray for everyone you love, now. In your prayer; spiritually tear down the walls that separate your loved ones from Jesus.
Let there be Light; let them see Jesus: in the Name of Jesus.
Stoke the fires of your FAITH, to follow those prayers. Stay on it till it is done.
No matter what you see, don't give up.
Use the Lords Prayer as a model:
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done: in "Marks" life. Fit the names in each verse.
That's one powerful prayer to pray! Jesus taught us that.

2 Thessalonians Chapter 1:6 Seeing [it is] a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
Jesus: we are to be imitating; doing. If we can't Go Ye, then maybe equip those that are? Commit to pray for the workers of the Harvest? Luke 10:2
