2Ti 2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with [him]. We die in order to live. So our suffering with Christ "worketh out for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory" (2Co 4:17). Compare also Ro 8:17 Mt 19:27,28. If we deny [him], he also will deny us. See Mt 10:33.
