in my point of view God want me to know in verse 19 that 1. He is a God of principles therefore whatever has been spoken by him is settled 2. He is Omniscience - knows,sees,hears, all things including me: i can not deceive Him 3. When i want to talk about him, i should watch my language MY action as well He does not defend falsehood

This is a great verse, especially for someone who might be going through something. To me GOD is letting me know that HE is here with me and HE knows everything I 'm feeling and going thru. Even when I 'm weak HE KEEPS ME STRONG!

God cannot be deceived, He knows those serving Him in truth and spirit and in due season He will reward them.

God at times disciplines me through a trial. God can be depended upon. He may be asking me, can I depend on your faith? He knows the answer but He wants me to realize that my faith is strong and growing stronger as He molds me to a certainty in a life of faith.

He is saying that a servant of the Lord must be apt to teach. These days people focus on the wrong things and pastors in the world today do not have the wisdom of knowledge of God because they aren 't set up by God but rather institutions that set them up by man. So when you ask them a question about the Bible they are more than likely to tell you to pray about it or give you an answer that involves vague common knowledge.

2 Timothy 7 this verse is so powerful to my life and make understand the very essence of a human being that we shouldn 't be afraid of meeting our challenges as God has made us powerful to face anything in this world

2 Timothy 2 24 just reminds me of Hebrews 12 14 that we are to follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. The only revenge the Christian exercises is love to his enemy and forgiveness. For "God is about love and forgiveness. "

in the house of God church there are different talent some for common and some for special purposes but if a man clean itself he shall be use be meet for masters ues

Well, Timothy is saying something that the local church is not doing. The church is involved with everything the world is doing and say it is our civic duty to me involved in protesting, talk shows debates, movies and etc. Explain this to me.

Failure to diligently study God 's Word could lead to misinterpretation and be misleading to ourselves and others. One thing worse than a lack of knowledge is incorrect and misleading information.

THE SPIRIT IS WILLING THE FLESH IS WEAK.

It is a call to all to make a u turn out of sin and to rely on God

You can 't fool GOD, HE is interested in relationship not religion your life will show which life your life is in

The foundation of God is Jesus Christ. The seal is Holy Spirit within us , me .God will not tolerate sin I must depart from iniquity to have a working relationship fellowship with my Lord Jesus Christ . The Lord knows all about me there is nothing hid from Him that I can hide . All is opened and naked unto the eyes of Him with whom I have to do I thank God for that sure foundation !!!.

There is no place for hypocrisy in the Body of Christ. Only genuine believers can really make an impact in the Body of Christ. If we dont live by the Word of God we will en up deceiving ourselves.

verse 18 describes a whole lot of people who call JESUS LORD. THEY LIVE as the cracking of the sky and JESUS ' RETURN TO GATHER THE CHURCH AMONG HIM IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN. Don 't be fooled JESUS IS GOING TO GATHER A CHURCH WITHOUT SPOT OR WRINKLE. HE IS NOT LOOKING AT THE PHYSICAL HIS LOOKING AT THE JESUS WITHIN AND NOT THE I. NO LONGER I BUT THE CHRIST WITHIN.

God is a Almighty God, he Knows all things, that is, open and secret. He knows those who are serving him with the whole of their heart, at the same time, he knows the pretenders.Let everyone by whom the name of the Lord is named be turned away from evil. For example, in Galatians 5 19 21, about 17 evils were mentioned. likewise other places in the Bible. so, for us to be holy as God and see him in the last day,we ought to depart from anything represents evil.

Sure God 's foundation is indisputable, indeed with a proof, we display his personality so our life style matters to whom we owe our identity. We are in the world but not of the world so we should say no to things that pleases the flesh and embrace holiness to the call

v 16 shun profane and vain babblings. for they will increase to more ungodliness. v21 If a man therefore purges himself of these vain babblings he shall be a vessel made to honour.sanctifies, and fit for the masters use,and prepared for every good work.

The verse simply inspired and moved me to study and "learn " more of the word of God!!!

A vessel what is a vessel?is a container there are many types of a vessel glass,wood,steel,clay etc.Dirty or clean Vessel.Dirty vessel is the one that contains jealousy,gossip,abuse,murder etc.And the CLEAN vessel represent holy is the vessel that is usable to God,is the vessel that heals,that bring people to God you can name all the good things that a clean vessel can do.I am a vessel of honor the one that represent God here on earth.

This is very beautiful and really powerful verse.

2 Timothy serves as a road map to young ministers It not only tell them but shows them the difficulties that lies ahead because of the choice they have made to be a servant soldier of God and a follower of Christ It also shows them the seriousness of staying focused and being about the Lord s buiness because it s the only thing thats going to prove them in the end

2 timothy 2 20 tells about the members of a church as vessels there is a broken vessel a vessel with a hole a disposable vessel plastic vessel ornamental vessel and there is a vessel that has a great use for the service of the Lord Jesus and God

Servants of God must endure hardship because in their endevour to preach the gospel the devil will not be happy with them; he will fight back. i mean if they will serve the Lord and in his power, they should be ready to suffer for him.

As a soldier on the forefront of the battle you have to fight, be focussed on the enemy at the back of your mind knowing you have to please the captain that has chosen you and remebering the don'ts that might lead you to being exposed to the enemy.

Knowledge is power.

If any competes in a contest he is not crowned except he strives lawfully. In a nut shell a person that wants to get to heaven must be holy. The bible in hebrew 12:14, say follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the lord

There are times to march and times to run away. Vs22 is an example of where to turn from the battle.

"Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart."

The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life are just a few things that a soldier of the Lord is to be evasive towards. The instruction doesn't stop there though... once we turn from self defeating lusts; then, we are to follow after the things of God with others who desire to stay clean and faithful to their Master. Righteousness, faith, charity, & peace are a tall order; but, excellent destinations to press toward with the right crowd. It is God's will for us to want to be around brothers and sisters that Love the Lord Jesus Christ.

Matthew Henry comments on this verse saying: "Study to show thyself approved unto God, 2 Timothy 2:15. Observe, The care of ministers must be to approve themselves unto God, to be accepted of him, and to show that they are so approved unto God. In order thereunto, there must be constant care and industry: Study to show thyself such a one, a workman that needs not be ashamed. Ministers must be workmen; they have work to do, and they must take pains in it. Workmen that are unskilful, or unfaithful, or lazy, have need to be ashamed; but those who mind their business, and keep to their work, are workmen that need not be ashamed. And what is their work? It is rightly to divide the word of truth. Not to invent a new gospel, but rightly to divide the gospel that is committed to their trust. Observe here, 1. The word which ministers preach is the word of truth, for the author of it is the God of truth. 2. It requires great wisdom, study, and care, to divide this word of truth rightly; Timothy must study in order to do this well."

Whatever is hard for me such as suffering,affliction or trial ,I can endure it as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. As a soldier I can put on the whole armor of God (sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God,breastplate of righteousness,shield of faith, helmet of salvation
feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace...)
