10:26 I myself also am a man - And not God, who alone ought to be worshipped, #Matt 4:10|. Have all his pretended successors attended to this?

10:28 But God hath showed me - He speaks sparingly to them of his former doubt, and his late vision.

10:29 I ask for what intent ye have sent for me? - St. Peter knew this already.
