26:5 If they would testify - But they would not, for they well knew what weight his former life must add to his present testimony.
Ac 26:5 I lived a Pharisee. The Jews all knew that he had been educated and had lived a Pharisee, the strictest of Jewish sects.
Which knew me from the beginning, (if they would testifie) that after the most straitest sect of our religion, I liued a Pharisee.
