Mt 24:1 (KJV) And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

Mt 24:2 (KJV) And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Mt 24:3 (KJV) And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

this prophecy is about the destruction of Jerusealm as Jesus states, and Christs first coming and the end of Judaism

    Hello PostMyers:

    Thank you for your response.

I know based on KJV Bible, Paul is not only an inspired man he is chosen by THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF as the last Apostle.

"Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God," Romans 1:1 KJV

"Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, ." 1 Corinthians 1:1 KJV

"Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God,." 2 Corinthians 1:1 KJV

"Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)" Galatians 1:1 KJV. You may wonder why every first verse of Paul epistle wrote that's he is an apostle of Jesus Christ. I think you get the gist that Paul holds the important messages for us today. In my opinion ALL are indeed inspired by God. Agape.

Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy is one of the biggest hoaxes on the modern church and the cornerstone of Israel-based prophecy doctrines, including and especially the rapture doctrine and the seven year Israel / antichrist tribulation teaching all of that comes out of the misinterpretation of Daniel's 70-week prophecy. A biblically correct interpretation of Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy absolutely shows the errors of Christian Zionism. Daniel was a student of Jeremiah's prophecy of Jerusalem's 70-year captivity by the Babylonians and you can read in verses 1 and 2 of Da 9.

underline that word desolations in verse 2, the archangel Gabriel appeared to Daniel and gave him his prophecy in the 68th year of that 70-year Babylonian captivity, The Babylonian captivity began with the removal of king Jeconius from Jerusalem and ended with the return of the remnant under Zerubbabel the 70 weeks that are determined upon thy people in thy holy city (verse 24) were God's judgment upon Israel primarily for its violation of God's law of the sabbath year which had been ignored for 490 years leading up to the Babylonian captivity. if you were wondering where that number came from...every seventh year was to be a sabbath year or a year of rest where servants were commanded to be freed and debts were forgiven that's Ex 23:10-12 for a period of 70 sabbath years or 490 years 70 times 7, Israel mocked God with greed and selfishness in refusing to cut off their personal property from the productivity of their servants and debt.

This prophecy predicts neither a seven year tribulation nor a rapture, it's not there it's man's invention that put it there, this entire prophecy is about Jesus Christ, Daniel 9:24 and the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. which is tied to Christ's completed work on the cross. Luke24:44

The Gap and rapture theory, diminishes Christ's completed work on the cross and is the foundation for the devilish doctrines contained in Christian Zionism

    Hello Ronnette,

There have been discussions such as this in recent months. People differ in their understanding on this. I, personally, believe that Jesus came for me, and you, and the Jew, and the Gentiles. His words are for all people, not just for the Jews. I do not elevate Paul as my singular apostles above the other apostles, nor above Jesus. If Jesus came only for the Jews, then His sacrificial death and resurrection was only for the Jews and Paul is appropriating this salvific work for the Gentiles without merit.

But, I do not believe that. I believe He is the promised Savior of Genesis 3:15 and saved all who believe in Him. He sent the Holy Spirit to all of the apostles at Pentecost, long before Paul became an apostle. The body of Christ existed before Paul became an apostle. he joined the other apostles when he was called to preach the same gospel as these other apostles to the Gentiles. The Gospel of Christ IS the gospel Paul preached. They are the same. There are not two gospels, one for Jews and one for Gentiles, in my opinion.

Well, this is my understanding on this topic, since you sought what others think about this topic.

    Hi 8152727794

I just did a search on the meaning of Zion. Apparently, it is not originally a Hebrew name, but acquired from the Jebusites that occupied the hill in Jerusalem before David took control of it. It is said to mean:

    1. Dry or parched land

    2. landmark

    3. place of safety or fortress

I have thought about these issues for the 40 or so years as a Christian. Here's my outline:

    1) People who are walking in the Spirit who are not fallen asleep. These are; in all honesty the minority in most churches today.

(See Malachi 3:16-18 to understand this issue of those written in the Book of Remembrance and their characteristics).

    2) People who are of faith and lukewarm. It would seem that for some; even backslidden believers around right now; that they will miss the Rapture if indeed it is a REWARD issue and not merely a salvation one. Such verses as Rev. 3:4-6 and 18-19 seem to show garments made white; and that further on in Rev. 7:9-14 it would seem that indeed these are believers whose garments were NOT unspotted as Eph. 5:27; Jude 1:23 and others who needed to bear fruit in the Tribulation (word comes from the word Tribulum which has to do with a quick wheat harvest in the hot sun).

    3) New believers: Since the nation of Israel has had the truth hidden until the fullness of the gentiles comes in Rom 11:17-29 then it stands to reason that at least the 144,000 if not parts of the countless multitude are new believers. One third survive "going through the fire" ( Zech. 13:9).

    4) The lost. These will sadly include those who did not LOVE the truth in order to be saved...notice they had to have intellectual knowledge first to become reprobate like this. These will no doubt believe that Antichrist is Christ or the first seal rider or believe in UFO invasion or some other lie. There could be some who never heard the gospel but it seems that it will be very few.

In any event ALL those whose names are not written in the Book of Life before the foundation of the world will take the mark. ( REv. 17:18; etal).

The separation with Israel itself will likely sort those who are into mysticism such as the Kaballah; and the Talmud from those who are looking strictly for the Messiah from the O.T. I believe for mass revival the rapture must happen

Isa 1:8 (KJV) And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.

And the daughter of Zion - Zion, or Sion, was the name of one of the hills on which the city of Jerusalem was built. On this hill formerly stood the city of the Jebusites, and when David took it from them he transferred to it his court, and it was called the city of David, or the holy hill. It was in the southern part of the city. As Zion became the residence of the court, and was the most important part of the city, the name was often used to denote the city itself, and is often applied to the whole of Jerusalem. The phrase 'daughter of Zion' here means Zion itself, or Jerusalem. The name daughter is given to it by a personification in accordance with a common custom in Eastern writers, by which beautiful towns and cities are likened to young females. The name mother is also applied in the same way. Perhaps the custom arose from the fact that when a city was built, towns and villages would spring up round it - and the first would be called the mother-city (hence, the word metropolis). The expression was also employed as an image of beauty, from a fancied resemblance between a beautiful town and a beautiful and well-dressed woman. Thus Ps 45:13, the phrase daughter of Tyre, means Tyre itself; Ps 137:8, daughter of Babylon, that is, Babylon; Isa 37:22, 'The virgin, the daughter of Zion;' Jer 46:2; Isa 23:12; Jer 14:17; Nu 21:23, Nu 21:32

    good stuff brother

James 2:18 To this the apostle replies, that the two things referred to, faith and works, were not independent things, which could exist separately, without the one materially influencing another--as, for example, charity and chastity, zeal and meekness; but that the one was the germ or source of the other, and that the existence of the one was to be known only by its developing itself in the form of the other. A man could not show that he possessed the one unless it developed itself in the form of the other. In proof of this, he could boldly appeal to any one to show a case where faith existed without works. He was himself willing to submit to this just trial in regard to this point, and to demonstrate the existence of his own faith by his works.

    Shew me thy faith without thy works. That is, you who maintain that faith is enough to prove the existence of religion; that a man may be justified and saved by that alone, or where it does not develope itself in holy living; or that all that is necessary in order to be saved is merely to believe. Let the reality of any such faith as that be shown, if it can be; let any real faith be shown to exist without a life of good works, and the point will be settled. I, says the apostle, will undertake to exhibit the evidence of my faith in a different way-- in a way about which there can be no doubt, and which is the appropriate method. It is clear, if the common reading here is correct, that the apostle meant to deny that true faith could be evinced without appropriate works. It should be said, however, that there is a difference of reading here of considerable importance. Many manuscripts and printed editions of the New Testament, instead of without [works--cwriV], read from or by, (ek,) as in the other part of the verse, "show me thy faith by thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works." This reading is found in Walton, Wetstein, Mill, and in the received text generally;

2Ti 3:16 (KJV) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

All Scripture. This properly refers to the Old Testament, and should not be applied to any part of the New Testament, unless it can be shown that that part was then written, and was included under the general name of the Scriptures. Comp. 2Pe 3:15-16. But it includes the whole of the Old Testament, and is the solemn testimony of Paul that it was all inspired. If now it can be proved that Paul himself was an inspired man, this settles the question as to the inspiration of the Old Testament.

John 20.29 This particular verse reaffirms the belief that Blessed are those who believe in an unseen God.

Lord does not mean God. If Thomas said that to Jesus in the previous verse, it should be taken in metaphorical sense and not actual. I cannot accept Jesus as Son of God nor God for the following reason .1. Matthew 24:36

No one knows about that day or hour, not even the Son, but the Father only.

Here Jesus makes a distinction between what he knows and what the Father knows.

    2. Matthew 26:39

My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me, yet not as I will, but as Thou will.

Jesus' will is likewise autonomous from God's Will. Jesus is seeking acquiescence to God's will.

    3. John 5:26

For as the Father has life in Himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself.

Jesus received his life from God. God received his life from no one. He is eternally self-existent.

    4. John 5:30

By myself, I can do nothing: I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who has sent me.

Jesus says, "by myself, I can do nothing." This indicates that Jesus is relying upon his own relationship with God. He is not trying to "please myself" but rather is seeking to "please the one who sent me."

    5. John 5:19

The Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees the Father doing, because whatever the Father does, the Son does also.

Jesus declares that he is following a pattern laid down by God. He is expressing obedience to God.

    7. John 14:28

The Father is greater than I.

This is another strong statement that makes a distinction between Jesus and God.

    8. Matthew 6:9

Our Father, which art in Heaven.

He didn't pray, Our Father, which art standing right here!"

    9. Matthew 27:46

My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Inconceivable if he is God the Creator.

Space does not permit to write more.

    Acts 3:26

Verse 26. Unto you first. To you who are Jews. This was the direction that the gospel should be first preached to the Jews, beginning at Jerusalem, Lu 24:47. Jesus himself also confined his ministry entirely to the Jews.

Having raised up. This expression does not refer to his having raised him from the dead, but is used in the same sense as in Ac 3:22, where God promised that he would raise up a prophet, and send him to teach the people. Peter means that God had appointed his Son Jesus, or had commissioned him to go and preach to the people to turn them away from their sins.

To bless you. To make you happy; to fulfil the promise made to Abraham.

In turning away. That is, by his preaching, example, death, etc. The highest blessing that can be conferred on men is to be turned from sin. It is the source of all woes; and if men are turned from that, they will be happy. Christ blesses no one in sin, or while loving sin, but by turning them from sin. This was the object which he had in view in coming, Isa 59:20; Mt 1:21. The design of Peter in these remarks was to show them that the Messiah had come, and that now they might look for happiness, pardon, and mercy through him. As the Jews might, so may all; and as Jesus while living sought to turn away men from their sins, so he does still, and still designs to bless all nations by the gospel which he had himself preached, and to establish which he died. All may therefore come and be blessed; and all may rejoice in the prospect that these blessings shall yet be bestowed on all the kindreds of the earth. May the happy day soon come!

"Unto you first" Mt 10:5; Lu 24:47

    "turning away every one" Isa 59:20;

    Tit 2:11-14

(KJV) For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

there is no divisions, the new testament explains the old testament, not the other way around.

But he answered---I am not sent, but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

This answer was made to the woman, not to the disciples. The lost sheep of the house of Israel were the Jews. He came first to them. He came as their expected Messiah. He came to preach the gospel himself to the Jews only. Afterwards it was preached to the Gentiles; but the ministry of Jesus was confined almost entirely to the Jews.

Mt 10:5-6; Go not Into the way of the Gentiles.

verse 5, That is, among the Gentiles, or nowhere but among the Jews. The full time for preaching the gospel to the Gentiles was not come. It was proper that it should be first preached to the Jews, the ancient covenant people of God, and the people among whom the Messiah was born. He afterwards gave them a charge to go into all the world, Mt 28:19.

verse 6, . But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. That is, to the Jews. He regarded them as wandering and lost, like sheep straying without a shepherd. They had been the chosen people of God; they had long looked for the Messiah; and it was proper that the gospel should be first offered to them.

    "go rather" Ac 13:46

    "lost sheep" Ps 119:176; Isa 53:6; Jer 1:6,17; Eze 34:5-6,8; 1Pe 2:25

to be continued, not enough space..

There are people can be left behind and realizing they should have believed the gospel of Paul 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. I cannot emphasized enough that only Jesus righteousness of faith can save many today than finding at the end they have entered the 70th week of tribulation. Paul said he lie not and surely God will not lie to us for all the mysteries revealed to him for us Gentiles. For the meantime we all need to grow in grace and KJV of charity. Hi Jim.

We get that question a lot.

That question is the source of a lot of debates and division for years.

For me here is a couple of reasons why I no longer like to answer those"original" posts directly.

    1) In a way it is like a person asking "if you commit suicide will you go to Heaven?" I am cautious to give an answer to that: afraid of what one might do with that information.

( It can prompt one to continue in sin.)

    2) Some ask that question rhetorically. ( Looking for a debate )

You asked for "scripture" on once saved always saved ".Please Forgive me for asking is that a rhetorical question?

However, To be cautious in my answer I would say examine by what means where you saved and your answer lies there.

I can not loose my salvation because I have a great Shepherd who layed down his life for me and calls me by name!! "He said he will never say to me I never knew you!" And he said "no man or myself can pluck me out of his hand!

    John 10:28-29.

This same Shepherd said he will NEVER leave or forsake me and he would abide with me forever.

    Hebrews 13:5.

    John 14:16.

He will NEVER leave or forsake me and he would abide with me forever!!

    Now notice John 14:17.

" Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; FOR HE DWELLETH WITH YOU, AND

( SHALL BE IN YOU )

He shall be in me and he shall never leave or forsake me!

In order for us who are "TRULY" saved to loose our salvation; Christ would have to be able to loose his salvation.

    Colossians 3:3.

Examine ourselves and by what means you were saved and the answer lies there.

    God bless.

Answer to why they use Sunday as the Sabbath is because of the Roman Emperor Constanine 1; because he issued a cival decree making Sunday a day of rest from labor. I think, the Jewish way, is Friday evening to Saturday morning, I believe.

Genesis 1:5, states evening and morning were the 1 st day.

Sunday is the 1 st day of the week and today we count Morning to Evening, think about!

Saturday - evening to morning - = Sunday - day 1; eve to morn , = Monday 2 day evening to morn Tuesday = day 3 eveing to morn Wednesday = 4th day, eveing to morn Thursday = 5th day, evening to morn Friday = 6 th Day, evening to morning Saturday = 7 th day; eveing to morning Sunday 1 st day again. I hope I understand this right. In GOD's Love and may HE Bless, Theresa A. Wood

Castaway: rejected, or disapproved of; that is, by men: the apostle's concern is, lest he should do anything that might bring a reproach on the Gospel; lest some corruption of his nature or other should break out, and thereby his ministry be justly blamed, and be brought under contempt; and so he be rejected and disapproved of by men, and become useless as a preacher: not that he feared he should become a reprobate, as the word is opposed to an elect person; or that he should be a castaway eternally, or be everlastingly damned; for he knew in whom he had believed, and was persuaded of his interest in the love of God, and that he was a chosen vessel of salvation, that could not be eternally lost:

Zion is a hill in Jerusalem, so it was often used as another name for Jerusalem. Frequently this name is also used for the nation of Israel, as in 64 Isaiah 10.
  • Ronnette - In Reply on Romans 15 - 2 years ago
    Hello Giannis:

I agree with your first sentence. To add, Jesus said "But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." Matthew 15:24 KJV. During Jesus Christ on earth He commanded His Disciples in Matthew 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Jesus was preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven. Had the Jews recognized their King..could of, would of, should of. But they killed their Messiah. Your second sentence is half correct. Jesus Christ had chosen Paul to be the twelfth apostle with a purpose to tell us Gentiles more detail what happened during his dispensation. The word dispensation can only be found 4X in Paul's epistles: 1 Corinthians 9:17

For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.

    Ephesians 3:2

If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

    Colossians 1:25

    Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

    Ephesians 1:10

That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

These verses proved to me that when Paul told us to "divide the word of truth" means that God speaks to different people in different times. Meaning Dispensation. Therefore, some verses of the Bible applies only to the Jews and only to Gentiles and some applies both to Jews and Gentiles in different times as "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets," Hebrews 1:1 KJV. Paul is our Apostle today. His dispensation of Grace is critical for today's salvation. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Agape.

Thank you for sharing. I was blessed reading it. All of see small and big miracles often. If our prayer life is fat on the WORD OF GOD, and skinny on unbelief, we'll do exploits for God, as written!

We are Jesus's disciples too. If our faith is healthy, we will witness miracles. We don't reach out to the lost because we FEEL like it. We do it because we know Jesus said, GO YE into all of the world (your world). If your world feels like it's closing in ? Listen to the Holy Spirits voice. He may need YOUR testimony today. Are you available? Let the Holy Spirit know. We need to stuff ourselves on the Word of God (the Bible). Our testimonies are through Jesus who paid a high price to make us His children. Honor that sacrifice.

Listen to that still small voice; underneath the continuous screech from the worldly world, media, and stuff that cannot possibly edify our SOULS. Souls are kind of innocent and open to love God:

But the world would try to drag us down with it. Let's do what Jesus did. Separate apart from the crowd, to pray to God. Thats why Jesus had strength to do what he had to do. [the Kingdom of God suffers violence; and the violent take it by force]

Jesus went apart to Pray. We need to turn off media and practice sitting QUIETLY before the Lord.

Have a list of your prayer needs AND those for other people who said "pray for me?".

Again, Listen with spiritual ears, for the voice of the Holy Spirit. You'll hear His voice in your mind and heart. Sometimes His voice is so powerful, I clutch my heart. His voice is gentle like a dove sometimes. Other times it grieves me, His heart burdened for lost souls. So let us understand the Lord of the Harvest: Jesus.

He's seated at the right hand of the Father; making intercessions for ALL SAINTS. It's up to us to pray for the Lost.

People who feed on hate__will go to hell. If we pray against that principality of hate? It has to bow its knee to Jesus, or flee.

    Blessings on you, Streetpreacher
