    Hello 815:

I agree with you. Thank you for your response. I have been seeking since I was young. But not until my Mom died recently I truly realized the magnitude of what Jesus Christ did on the cross for me. I always cry every Lent season not understanding why. There is some profound things happened to me, but all I can say is that God wants all to be saved. Agape.

Wow, where to begin? Space would not allow me to answer all your questions. First of all, always keep in mind that what Jesus suffered on the Cross was for everything that would happen to us. He took our suffering and shame upon His self. All your answers are in the Cross. Take all your burdens to the Lord and lay them at His feet. Only Jesus can give you His Peace and the understanding to carry you through it all. Read the Bible daily! Honestly, I think you should order a Expositor Study Bible from Jimmy Swaggart Ministry. That Bible will truly open up to you all the Truths. Jesus said, " I am the Way the Truth and the Life, no man cometh unto the Father but by Me". ( John 14:6) Another scripture is (Hebrew 13:5-6) " I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do". (Psa.34:19) Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all." Tell your friend to read Proverbs 3:16 and stand upon Gods Word. Trust and believe for He is the healer of all our suffering's. Jesus did it all at Calvary. We are to lean upon Him and His Living Word, the Bible. Amen.

    Greetings David,

I'm no expert, but am a follower of Christ. I tend to see things through simplicity or common sense of scripture, of just what limited knowledge I have.

I believe God's peace waxes/wanes and ebbs/flows based on His timeline, will, and the obedience of man; especially his chosen people. Like in Ecc. when there's a time for peace and a time for war.

Plus, the world once was at total peace, now we're not (fallen angel, Adam/Eve)

The world one day with be with zero peace --tribulation.

Then once again, all will be fixed by Jesus, and we will be back at total peace.

We are peace when Godly men reign; overall we are currently under the burden of a fallen world.

And this: Proverbs 29:2 (KJV) When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

    Link

Last I checked. God is out, sin overrunith, most don't want to live in peace, leaders aren't righteous, world in disarray, satan does have dominion over current world, and Jews waiting for first coming of Jesus. However, we still are the light.

    Blessings,

  • THE PLAN OF THE GODHEAD FOR MANKIND__Streetpreacher - In Reply - 2 years ago
What they said is NOT scripture.

Jesus was crucified for the sins of ALL MANKIND. Past, present and future. An invitation was given to mankind to come to Jesus for salvation, and to be cleansed from sin.

Jesus tasted death for EVERY person born or unborn. His body was in the Tomb for 3 days. His spirit was ALIVE. He had fulfilled a prophesy in Genesis 3:15. He crushed Satans head (power).

Jesus took back what Satan had stolen from Adam in the garden of Eden: POWER AND AUTHORITY. Which Jesus now imparts to everyone who is BORN AGAIN, according to John 3.

Jesus did go into Hell to get the KEYS to death, hell and the grave. He opened the doors in hell and released those who had named the name of Jesus and lived For Him in their lives on earth. Those names are recorded in THE BOOK OF LIFE. He knows who belongs to Him. He took everyone through the streets of ancient Jerusalem to be seen VISIBLY. Jesus is God, ok? So hundred/thousands SAW friends, family etc, following Jesus in real bodies. Then the resurrected people went to heaven.

Just in time for Jesus get back as Mary Magdalene was peering into the OPEN tomb. There was some conversation (read in the Bible). She tried to embrace Jesus but he said, Touch me not for I have not yet risen to My Father. (Jesus went to heaven to be made High Priest. He couldn't be "defiled", before that ceremony).

Mary runs to tell the Disciples Jesus is Risen. Jesus returns to go to hell to lead the captives out, as I said earlier. You'll love reading the accounts in the 4 gospels even more! When you know the whole of the story as each Disciple understood it, sheer joy should flood Your soul.

Jesus gives US the same power and authority to defeat Satan on this earth NOW. If we don't know this, we will live lives of mediocrity. No salvations, no healings or deliverance from satanic attacks, etc.

LET THE CHURCH OF JESUS ARISE. Stand up!! In Jesus Name!! Don't miss out on the Rapture. Evangelize!

No one knows the time or date of Gods return. Pray to God and ask Him about this dream and see what He reveals to you. If any of this lines up in Gods Word then you can believe but if there is no account in the Word that a deceased loved one can or will predict the future I would turn away from it. Read the 16th chapter of Luke about the true account of the rich man Lazarus and the poor beggar , who both died. You have to remember that Satan can deceive us and will if we open up our thoughts to things that are not true. If your daughter was a born again believer and saved through Faith in Christ Jesus then yes, you will see her again. Providing you are saved also in Christ Jesus. That's all I can say! Pray about it and seek the Lord, give it to Him and trust in Him and His Holy Word. Amen.

  • 8152757794 - In Reply - 2 years ago
Absolutely "not" !First and foremost, we know that Christ is the Head of the Church ( Eph. 1:22). Peter was never the head of the church, nor is any other man- only Christ. Second, Peter himself said that Christ was the true Cornerstone ( 1Peter 2:4-8). Also read 4:11-12. The Church was built on Christ. He is the only True Foundation and there is no other Foundation. The Word of God says: " For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ " ( 1Cor. 3:11).

But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: ( Titus 2:1)

We are saved by grace through faith.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: ( Ephesians 2:8)

And Jesus said the to woman who anointed His feet,

And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace. ( Luke 7:30)

    But James teaches,

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. ( James 2:26)

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. ( James 2:17)

Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. ( James 2:18)

    Therefore, James and Paul contradict.

And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. ( Romans 11:6)

Consequently, we are saved by both faith and works, which says both James and Paul are inspired and not one over the other.

    And Christ's apostles will judge

when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Job had many complaints about God; but we must realize that he was unaware of Satan's part in the calamities in particular in Job 1 and 2; and the eventual physical toil allowed by God with death being the only limit Satan couldn't reach. That caused the suffering found until the last chapter of the book. God used it to test Job; to see if he remained faithful and not curse His name (as apparently his wife did). Only in that sense did God use this as He does all things for the good for those who love Him ( Romans 8:28).- The frightening apparitions or dreams that Job saw; the painful sores; the accusations of his friends etc were unjustified.

The important event which I tended to overlook was God's command for Job to pray for his 3 friends (with the youngest one for some reason left out). If he hadn't done this not only their own state would be in peril; but perhaps Job himself would never have gotten over his bitterness and could have ended up much like Jonah. His own restoration was tied into forgiveness toward his friends; a lesson we cannot afford to ignore. Also; of course Job's fortunes were restored even more than before; in both beautiful offspring; and riches. It is interesting that only daughters were mentioned; it would be supposed that something good came from his wife (who knows if she ever repented of her own callous words).

So as to your original question; what was being blamed toward God was really Satan's "machinations". God has predestined all things; even Job and Satan in the time and place these events occurred; for our own edification (as all scripture is God breathed and worthy for instruction; etc. ( 1 Tim. 3:16-17). God tests all His servants to prove that they are overcomers; and to produce fruit. God doesn't willingly afflict man ( Lamentations 3:31-33). He has no pleasure even in the death of the wicked Ezekiel 33:11. He chastises all those He loves ( Heb. 12:6). Let us rejoice in this and trust Satan is a defeated fo

Actually, as time goes by, I truly believe it is America now (mystery babylon). God won't mention us anymore and why we're not in the bible, in positive light. He made us the right-hand man to His chosen land and people, made us the great leader to the FREE world and keep it FREE --now look at us and what we've done. We fit the bill. America has so much blood on its hands.

There is "no" salvation in water baptism. Think about the sinner who was on a cross next to Jesus, when he ask Jesus to remember him and Jesus said, today you will be with me in paradise. He did not get down from the cross and go get water baptized. Water baptism is a action taken by a born again believer who wants to let others know that he has excepted Jesus as His Lord and Savior and has repented of his sins. It's a confession that you are saved. That you are a new creation in Christ Jesus, that you died with Him, are buried with Him and raised in the newness of Life in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

We are under the dispensation of Grace now! Since Jesus death, buriel and resurrection we are no longer under the dispensation of law. Christ fulfilled the law in every way.( Colossians 2:14) Blotting out the handwriting of Ordinances that was against us(pertains to the Law of Moses, which was Gods standard of Righteousness that man could not reach).which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way nailing it to His Cross.

They didn't follow Gods way and we're disobedient. The only peace that was on earth was during the time that Jesus was here. The war gates of Rome were shut or opened, (which ever way it was to be done when there was no war happening). When Jesus left this world and went to Heaven, now the peace is gone until He returns and reigns here on earth.

Thank You Lord for all the brethren and those who are seeking Your truth on this forum. I've enjoyed the discussions and I pray that the truth many are searching for will be received in the mighty name of CHRIST.

James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

"I need Thee every hour most gracious LORD, No tender voice like Thine can peace afford.

I need Thee, O I Thee every hour I need Thee. O bless me now, my Savior I come to Thee."

    Author(refrain): Robert Lowry(1872); Author:Annie S. Hawks (1872) Tune: NEED (Lowry)

    Praise the LORD.

This is similar to Matthew 10:23 and focuses on the "Gospel of the Kingdom". In that case it will not be preached to all the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes. Given there are comments on some being put to death; speaking in front of Kings; etc. it is claer that this journey went beyond this one ventue; beyond the Resurrection at least until the Apostles were all killed. The sentiment also seems to indicate during the first part of the Tribulation as found in 2 Cor. 12:14 as well as 2 Timothy as evidence of the last days. No doubt the 2 witnesses and probably some of the 144,000 will be witnessing to leaders.

Because of that logic; I would agree as to other scriptures in Thessalonians from the "Pauline" epistles; as well as Revelation itself indicating that there is indeed a rapture at the end of the Age of Grace; once the "restrainer" is removed. ( 2 Thess. 2:6-7).

We need to be aware; as Luke 21:36 states of His return; praying earnestly. This verse about praying to be worthy seems to indicate some indeed are left behind. At the very least; we have crowns to take hold of or lose reward if not remaining faithful as Rev. 3:11 indicates. 2 Tim. 4:8 shows this; and I just realized that Psalm 40:1 before what sounds like the world's reaction to the Rapture (verse 3) seems to show an indication of the merit of us patiently waiting as a cross reference as well. The theme of patience is mentioned throughout the O.T. and N.T.; Proverbs; Romans and Proverbs being just a few examples.

In the Tribulation; once again the Jews wil be prominent in evangelism. The "blindness in part" mentioned in Romans will be lifted ( Romans 11:25). As I state many times; by the sixth seal there will no longer be any atheists ( Rev. 6:16-17). Indeed; the Kingdom coming to earth will be finally realized in short order; after the "parenthesis" which occurred after AD 70; and continued until recent times. Also see Zech. 13:8 as to God's plan for Israel and Jer. 30:7.

Jesus being a minister for the circumsision, means that He preached the Gospel to Israelites. Paul preached the same Gospel to the other nations. They both preached that salvation is offered to people, Jews and gentiles, through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

But may I ask you something? What do you actually think when you read the words "divide the word of truth"? What you think it means? Because I think some people on this forum got it wrong. Also what does dispensation stand for, never heard it before.

1 Corinthians 1:17: For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

If water baptism was a requirement for salvation Christ would have sent Paul the apostle to baptize. However, Paul was not sent to water baptize but to preach the gospel of which water baptism is not an essential element.

Romans 1:16-17 (KJV): For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV): For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Works, including that of water baptism, do not save. We are saved by grace through FAITH in Jesus Christ.

Water baptism is an ordinance and an outward practice for the inward work done by Christ when we're saved by Grace. I also agree that when Jesus speaks of water in John 3 to Nicodemus; he's referring to physical birth...no water baptism as an ordinance.

Religion (catholicism being one) teach that it is Salvation but they add sacraments and other works to that process thus showing how they've frustrated the simple Grace of Jesus Christ.
